The boy and Shen were kneeling in the grand temple as the girl stood next to them, her head bowed.

The bearded man looked at them all with a malicious look as he looked the the boy in specific.

"Zed... Three miles and 50 training cycles.. 30 minutes"

Zed spat on Shen's shoes as he left, his eyes showing disregard for everything.

The bearded man then looked to Shen with sympathy.

"Shen.. My son... Learn to protect yourself... Train harder.."

"Yes master, I plan to" Shen got up and he was about to leave, but he was interrupted.

"Wait Shen..? Who is this young lady"

Before Shen could answer, the girl bowed as she looked at the man. "Sir.. I am Akali of the Simiwasi family. I tried to save your son"

The bearded man chuckled as he looked at her. "Thank you. You have good reflexes I see, and good thinking. Say.... How would you like to be a Kinkou ninja"

Akali bowed, as she smiled. "I would love it"

The bearded man smiled. "Shen, you're in charge of her training. Make sure she becomes strong... But remember... Ninja ALWAYS work alone..."
