My Boyfriend's Best Friend

Chapter 11

When Harry left, I sat on my bed alone and bored. I found myself calling Niall. I didn't know why but I needed to talk to him.

"Julia?" he asked obviously surprised.

"Why did you say all of those things to Harry?" I asked.

"I thought maybe if he wasn't around we could get back together. I'm sorry I know it was stupid but I really do still love you," he said.

"You made me sound like some whore who would do anything for a guy just because he did me a favor," I said thinking about how he said that I was "all over him."

"Jules I didn't mean for it to come out that way I just wanted you guys to be done," he admitted.

"You're sick!" I yelled hanging up the phone. calling was a stupid idea on my part but I couldn't believe he said that. Part of me wanted to believe that he didn't say those things to Harry and that's just how he took it.

I hated that Niall would even think about ruining me and Harry's relationship, he already ruined the one we had. It's like he was deliberately trying to fuck with my feelings.

It was weird to think that a few months ago I was head over heels for this asshole. Back then he was my entire world and I'd do anything for him. Now I can barely stand the thought of him. So much had changed and I hated it and loved it at the same time.

It was really unsettling that Harry almost believed Niall over me but I could kind of understand seeing as they were best friends and all but still. I was his girlfriend so he shouldn't have even had to think twice before believing me over some who lied to and cheated on me before.

I needed to get out of this old house and do something fun. I decided to group chat my two best friends, Brooklyn and Jane, to see if they were down for a girls day out. No boys allowed.

Me: "Hey guys u doing anything today??"

B: "I'm not."

J: "Nopee"

Me: "Wanna hang out later? I could really use some girl time."

J: "Sounds good to me. We should go shopping!!!"

B: "Yeah that would be cool. We never see u any more."

Me: "Well you know I've been having... problems."

J: "Yeah but we'll help you get through all the shit he put you through."

B: "Yeah!! How are things between u and Harry??"

Me: "Great. Until Niall tried to break us up."

B: "He did what?!?!?"

Me: "I'll tell I guys about it later. I'll meet u @ the mall in half an hour. x"

J: "Alright see you there Jules!! xx"

B: "Bye loves see u then!! x"

It was about time that I got to spend some time with my friends. I hadn't seen them outside of school since Harry and I started dating. I really missed them.

Twenty minutes later I was ready to go so I got my purse out of my closet and began my eight minute walk to the mall. I really needed a car. Harry said he'd help me look for one when I was ready. I really needed to take him up on his offer.

When I got to the mall, I looked around for Brooklyn and Jane. I suspected they would be a little late, especially if they together. But I was wrong and I found them standing together next to a photo booth located in the middle of the walkway.

"Jules!" Brooklyn exclaimed once she spotted me. I rushed over to hug her.

"It's been so long," Jane said. I rolled my eyes at her.
