As the truck pulled into the driveway, even before it was completely stopped, I opened the door and ran to my family's barn. I ran into my horse, Rainbowbeauty, stall, and wrapped my arms around her neck. I started bawling, probably saying something stupid, like "I hate my sister" or something along those lines . I don't remember, I was too drowned in my own sorrows to really pay attention to much else. I ran to the tack room to get her halter, then came back to her stall and threw the pink lead rope around her neck, then fastened it. I led her out of the stall and into the pasture, where I let her go and hung her halter up on the fence. All of a sudden, I started bawling again. I ran back into the stable and into the hayloft and started crying harder, until I could barely breath.
