Today felt different, it almost felt like some part of me has been awoken, but that makes no sense because the only way I could feel like that is if why soul mate was alive, and the queen and king of the xerina kingdom where killed over 17 years ago and when the queen was pregnant I felt that their child was to be my mate. At only 3 I felt the connecting between me and their child. When the war began I couldn't do anything. I was merely a toddler so when I was told I was heartbroken. I haven't spoke to anyone besides my best friend Lucian for years and I don't think I have smiled with anyone besides him either. It's sad really, but I just can't bring myself to forgiving my parents for not protecting her when I couldn't. 
So today when I felt the connection I got excited and ran to the dining room where I knew my parents and Lucian would be eating their breakfasts. I couldn't stop the smiling and feeling of hope I knew was shining in my eyes. Once I got there everyone quited down and once Lucian saw me he knew immediately why I was smiling like a mad man. At that moment he knew that she had to be alive. My parents were confused as to why I was smiling especially around them, but at that moment I forgave them a little. I spoke with so much happiness as I said " she's alive."
