The music was loud. The crowd was rather shouting than singing the lyrics to every song, together with Quinn on the stage.
The girl right next to me, a blonde beauty with incredible makeup skills, was the friend I decided to take to the concert with me.
She seemed to really be enjoying herself, with her hands in the air, screaming the lyrics as loud as she could, with sparkling, brown eyes.
I was really enjoying myself too, probably the most fun I've had this year.
My family isn't very rich, but when I got the tickets to The Black Bats' concert here in Dallas, I was even happier than now.Mikey looked over to me with a bright smile.
"Come on! I know you're having fun, show it!!" She shouted and playfully grabbed my cheeks.
"Let go!" I said loudly with a laugh, trying to drown the music, unsuccessfully.
Mikey probably didn't hear what I said, but she let go of my cheeks and pushed me lightly.
She was always like this, childish and playful - Always happy, unlike me. I'm struggling with bipolar disorder, luckily not a very serious case, but I still have it.The Black Bats finished of their fourth song.
"Alright, this one is called Don't Let Me Drown, hope you like it friends!" The singer Quinn shouted.
The crowd consisting of about 100 people, screamed and whistled loudly and then the music once again started playing.
But soon something close to the exit started to distract the back rows, a barely hearable scream from the stage, but very clear from the last few rows.
For some reason I turned around, the crowd was a lot quieter than before, and I just had this feeling that something wasn't right.
But then I heard it.
A scream that stood out from the other screams. A deafening, terrifying scream as if the person screaming just saw the last few seconds flash before their eyes.
And something else..."CALL THE FUCKING COPS!"
Everyone panicked, except for the three people on stage.
"Hey, hey, calm down!" the singer said as the drummer and guitarist stopped playing.
"What's going on here, do we need to call the cops or no" she asked in a friendly, but hard voice. A few people in the back were still screaming.
"SHE'S EATING HIM! FUCKING EATING HI-!!" A guy screamed at the top of his lungs, but got interrupted by his own screaming, a scream in pain.
"Shit..." I whispered, looking over to Mikey, who was covering her mouth with her hands.
"H-Hannah... W-we should... Leave"
Her voice was unstable and barely hearable.
"Okay blue-haired guy in the front, call the police, quickly" Quinn ordered as the security guys started running towards the chaos in the back.
"Yeah...let's bounce"* * *
"MUM?!"
The first thing I screamed after I had slammed the door to our tiny house open.
"DAD-?!"
My mum came running down the stairs and my dad peeked out from the living room.
"Hannah darling? What's wrong?" My mum asked, concerned and worried about my sudden screams.
"You're not gonna believe what happened at the concert"
