A Surprise Meeting (O2L Fan Fiction)

Chapter 12

~The Next Day~

*Shaianne's P.O.V.*

I woke up on the couch with a pounding headache. Yesterday was a bit of a blur. All I remember is breaking up with Connor, Ricky and I kissing, and I think we're going on a date? Everyone else was still asleep except for Connor. There was way too much awkward tension. I walked into the kitchen. He faced his back to me.

"Shaianne. Can we please talk?" he asked, vulnerability in his voice.

"Sure. What's there to talk about though?" I spat, my words harsher than I intended for them to be.

He turned to face me. His eyes were bloodshot. He'd obviously been crying.

"Look. I didn't mean to. I just lost control. I'm really sorry. I know you and Ricky are like a thing now so I'm not asking you to take me back. I just wanted to apologize so we can hopefully be friends..."

I stood there for a moment while his words swirled around in my head. Should I forgive him? Yeah. I guess I should. I mean he's a boy. He can't help it.

"Don't worry about it Connor. We're cool."

"Really?"

"Really."

"Awesome."

"Hey. Do you think everyone would be up for a little camping trip?"

"I am. Lets wait for everyone to get up to decide."

"Alright. Anyways, so, what did you see when you walked in? I'm just curious."

"I saw this nice girl who obviously was the best thing that ever happened to me."

Aww. Don't fall for him again. Ricky likes you but Connor does too. Fuck. This just made my life harder... Shit. I thought I'd wake Ricky up because I can't keep looking at Connor. I feel sorry for him but I don't. I went over to Ricky who was on the floor with his DS next to him. Oh Ricky.

"Ricky," I said while shaking him.

"Mhmmm..." He moaned. I placed a soft kiss on his warm lips. His eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Morning sleepy head," I smiled.

"Morning Princess," he smiled slowly sitting up. "You up for a date later today?"

"Yeah. Where shall we go?"

"Anywhere. Where do you want to go?"

"I don't know. Surprise me."

"Alright. Please be ready by 12:00 okay?"

"Okay. Oh and I was thinking all of is could go on a camping trip. Connor's up for it."

"Shaianne. Are you sure Connor and you aren't a thing still?"

"Nope. I was talking to him this morning and he knows about us. We're just friends. Trust me."

"Okay."

"Yay! So what shall we do until I have to get ready. It's only 6:30. I was gonna go for a run but I won't if you don't want me to."

"No. You can go. Can I come?"

"Sure. The more the merrier!"

"Alright. Let's go get dressed and then we'll head out."

"Sounds like a plan."

We went up to our rooms. I grabbed a pair of running shorts and a tank top and threw on an athletic jacket because it was kinda cold this morning. I grabbed my phone and headphones. Lastly I put on my socks and running shoes. I went down stairs and saw a shirtless Ricky.

"Um. Hey Ricky. You ready to go?" I asked confused.

"Yup!"

"Shouldn't you put on a shirt?"

"Yeah but I never really wear a shirt when I run."

Stop staring!

"Oh. Okay. Let's go."

~After the Run~

*Ricky's P.O.V.*

Damn. Girl can run far. We entered the house which is where basically all of us --except for Madeline, Brooke, and Maranda--live.

"Hey guys!" Shaianne chimed, her voice ringing through the house.

"Hey. How far did you run today?" Tiana asked.

"Only 10," Shaianne replied.

"You told me we ran 5," I said.

"Well, I didn't want to make you

think about the distance," she replied.

"Fair enough," I said.

Shaianne chuckled. What did I do to have her in my life. She went up to her room and came down in a beautiful love sweatshirt and leggings and black toms.

"Lets watch movie!" exclaimed Shaianne.

"Fine. What shall we watch?" Kiana asked.

"What about Frozen!" Trevor exclaimed.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

~Two Hours Later~

*Shaianne's P.O.V.*

We had finished the movie a little while ago. We were playing spoons the card game. It was only Jc and I left. I ended up winning. Hell yeah.

"I'm bored," Connor whined.

"Idea! I was talking to Connor this morning and I suggested that we go camping. Shall we go today?" I asked.

"I'm cool with that," Ricky said.

"Yeah. Sounds like fun," everyone agreed.

"What time?" I asked.

"About 3 hours from now?" Tiana asked.

"Yeah. Okay. Lets see. Skye and Kian you two will share a tent. Connor and Sam. Kiana and Trevor. Tiana and Jc. Ricardo you will be by yourself. And lastly Ricky and I will share a tent," I said.

"How about we just get an RV instead?" Sam suggested.

"Yeah. My parents own one," Connor said.

"Would they let us use it?" I asked.

"Yeah. Let me call them," Connor said stepping out.

I went up to my room to pack. Everything will be... perfect.
