She was born into a wealthy family. Both her parent's adored her of course, who wouldn't adore her with her long, flowing, dirty blonde, golden hair, with her emerald green eyes that sparkle with a hint of danger every time she smiles. No, not a smile a smirk; a smirk that always draws me in. My name is Edward Harrison and I'm in love with Lucinda Cassidy. I met Lucinda a couple months ago during OaksVille's yearly town ball.

*Flash Back to the OaksVille Ball*

During the winter of the year of 1485, I was drinking water while my brother Daniel, drinks straight up bourbon from a wide set glass; Lucinda saunters over to the bar and orders a cocktail. She notices my brother first, and does her first ever smirk to us.

"Well, well, well, Edward Harringson drinking bourbon?" Lucinda says as she edges closer to my brother with her arms folded still having a smirk on her face.

"My pardon ma'am?" Daniel says looking at her with confusion.

"Did I miss speak? I'm sorry, I am very bad with names. I'm Lucinda. Lucinda Cassidy." Lucinda says raising her hand to her chest and looking at both my brother and I shyly.

"Oh don't you worry my lady, let me introduce myself. I'm Daniel Harrison, not Harrington my love, and this is Edward Harrison my younger brother." Daniel explains, taking Lucinda's gloved hand into his.

Lucinda looks up into my eyes for the first time and my heart stops. She smiles at me, making myself smile as well, and walks in between my brother and I. She than laughs and my smile goes away.

"So Edward is the one who doesn't break rules than. Correct? Since you Daniel, are drinking openly in the middle of a dance while only seventeen years old." Her cocktail comes and she sips it while my brother and I take in her change of personality.

"I'm sorry, how do you know my brothers age?" I ask her setting down my glass on the bar.

"Ah, he speaks." She smiles at me and sits at the stool next to the one I am sitting on, and rest her hand on my leg. I look up at my brother and his eyes were set wide staring at Lucinda's hand.

"Okay look, I'm not in the mood tonight to try and fake the whole 'I'm just a town girl looking for some company' act so let's just get to it shall we?" Lucinda says looking between my brother and I waiting for an answer.

Daniel and I exchange a confused but curious look than Daniel speaks. "Yes please, let's get to it." He sits down on the other side of Lucinda.

"Perfect." She says and smiles so big it made me happy that I, and my brother of course, was the reason for that smile.

The next two hours consisted of Lucinda pulling me out onto the dance floor for one dance, and Daniel out on the next, whispering something in both our ears that she so eagerly had to tell us. However, Daniel and I cannot for the life of us remember what she said. All I remember is the feeling. The feeling of her lips close to my neck and the feeling of happiness. Complete and utter happiness.

"Let's go sit back down shall we?" Lucinda says during the middle of one of our dances.

"Of course." I respond, taking her hand and leading her back to the bar where Daniel is. He seemed to study Lucinda.

"No more bourbon Daniel?" Lucinda asked Daniel once she sits down in the middle of my brother and I.

"Oh I wouldn't want to get caught Lucinda. If you want to get away with drinking here, you have to know your limits." Daniel says leaning against the bar. He than winks at Lucinda making her smile and look down at her hands.
