Harry's POV.
We are on our way to a meeting place to go to the World Cup when Mr. Weasley stops us. "Before we go any farther I must warn you that a letter was sent to the ministry saying there would be trouble at the World Cup. Now while the ministry doesn't believe it I ask that all of you be careful and don't do anything stupid. Especially you Harry." He said. Why me? I wasn't more important then anyone else. I mean I kinda was the boy who lived but still.
Just a short while latter we arrived at a stinky old boot and everyone started placing there hands on it.
"Why's everyone touching the boot?" I asked Fred and George throughly confused.
"That's not any old boot." George said.
"That's a port key, mate." Fred said. I didn't know what it was so I just stood around it until Mr. Weasley told me to touch it so I did. Just as I put my hand on the old boot we all get sucked in. What the heck is a port key? Ginny, Hermione, Ron, The twins, and I all end up on our backsides but the adults and Cedric look like they are walking on clouds. Don't ask me how they do it. Cedric comes over and gives me a hand getting up.The game just ended and we are heading back to the tents. Ireland won but Krum got the snitch just like the twins said would happen. So Ireland was of course celebrating when chaos broke out. "Run!" Mr. Weasley called and I tried to but I got separated from the group. I was lost in the middle of the disaster. Luckily it all died down rather quickly but the seen around me was destroyed and I was the only one around. Or so I thought. I saw a man run and so I followed. He took out his wand and cast a spell causing a snake to appear in the sky. Unfortunately I was to busy looking at the sky to chase him.
Soon Hermione and Ron came and I was relieved to see someone I knew. "We were so worried!" Hermione said. I was about to tell her that I was okay when Barty Crouch came over. He wasn't happy. Right before he could start blaming us Mr Weasley came to our defense. Honestly I just wanted to get back to the burrow. School was starting soon and I wanted to be home. Not in Azkaban. I should write to Sirius about all this but first we needed to get back to the Weasley's house.
Alexandra's POV
I knew that last night at the World Cup my vision had come true. I was hoping it wouldn't but non of my visions have failed and I am a seer. But it's why I subscribed to the daily prophet when I found out I was a seer. As a first year I had been given a time turner so that I could take divination along with my other subjects.
I payed the daily prophet owl and took the paper. And the headline was World Cup Attacked! I was right. And I hated it. Most people love to be right but when I'm right it normally means someone is hurt. Unfortunately I very rarely prophesies good thing. In fact I've only ever done it once. But I don't really understand it. When I was in my first year I prophesied for the very first time. The prophecy made no sense though.
The Dark Lord will return
For three years he will reign.
The spare will die but be saved
By the sister of the boy who lived.
It makes more sense now. Voldemort is coming back. He'll only be in power for three years though. Someone will be killed unfortunately but they will be brought back to life. Don't ask me how that works. And Harry Potters little sister is supposed to do it. The problem is Harry doesn't have a sister. This is the only prophecy I don't think will come true. Most of them come true fairly quickly for me. Also Harry doesn't have a little sister so the 'spare' can't be saved. And you can't bring the dead to life. Can you? I don't think so but if my prophecy is right maybe the sister of Harry Potter can. But who is she? We're has she been after all these years?
School starts in three days and I'm pretty scared. I'm excited too. Every school is different with new things for me to learn and new people to meet. The only problem is sometimes these new people aren't exactly nice. Or friendly at all. Sometimes they are just down right mean and I don't want to have to go through that again. Maybe if I don't make friends things will be easier. Heavens knows kids aren't going to be nice the first time I have a vision. My vision clouds over and I can't hear a thing. Let's just hope it happens in advanced Divinations. My teachers want me to take it the five years it's offered so that I can learn how to better use my powers. Even maybe learn how to get a vision by will. It's not easy and only a few can do it but I've been practicing and I'm getting close. The headache just makes it to hard to continue. I hope we have a good teacher not one of those teachers who always says the kids are going to die. Those are so annoying because it's not actual prophecy. They're just saying things to make it seem like they know what they are doing when really they have no clue. Those are teachers who barely have the gift.
