Sounds Like A Symphony

Chapter 2 - Back Home

Alex and I were finally back home in Florida and could not wait to see our family and friends. As the plane slowly landed on the airstrip the familiar surroundings of the Orlando International Airport came into view from all the travelling for my pervious dance competitions.

As we exited the plane and headed to customs, a man who was the head of security came to greet us and ushered us out. A few other men in security uniforms who brought us to collect our bags joined him. Once that was done they lead us outside to find our family and friends. One of the guards pushed open the door for us and we stepped outside.

The moment our feet stepped out of the door a ton of screaming fans with phones clutched in their hands tried to come over to us. One even ran past the guards to hug Alex! Most of them had posters and one or two had flowers and they were so sweet! I stopped to talk to a few of them and take photos but I wish I had more time! Then in a corner I spotted Shelly Kinsey and ran over to her and ran over to her. She embraced me with a big bear hug and said she was so proud of us. Alex joined us and we headed into her car.

 Shelly Is Alex’s sister and I have known her since Alex and ii started dating and we’ve become extremely close. On the ride home we talked about the Factor, the fans, how life has changed. And to think about it. It really has changed a lot.
