Sounds Like A Symphony

Chapter 1 - Here's the deal

It was the week after and Simon had called us in to discuss our contract with Sony Music. He gave us the  weekend off but he said now that we were in the business there was no stopping now. 

We pushed past the glass doors of the Sony Music Headquarters and went inside to be greeted with cocktails and a cold gush of air. There was a nice lady at the front who told us to take a seat on the black velvet sofas nearby. She didn't exactly say that but you get my point. 

"So far so good" Alex said as he interlaced his fingers with mine. I chuckled and sat down next to him still feeling very nervous. "Babe don't be scared it'll be just fine. It's just to sign the contract that's all." He reassured me. 

Soon enough we were whisked by a very cool lady i must add, to the top floor of the building. We were the ushered into a room with a big table and a few chairs. Next came a man who had a breifcase and introuced himself as Mike. My heart started beating even faster. Sierra get your act together! They're just people. That could make or break your career! I thought to myself. 

Mike sat down opposite alex and i, and asked us a buch of social sercurity questions when Simon and another man walked in. He greeted all of us then introduced us to the other man named Archer, who was to be our new agent and they both sat next to Alex. 

After Mike got all the papers out he basically read through the terms and conditions which all seemed really fair. 

"Lastly" , Mike said cocking his head to the side, "Here's the deal. There is one very important rule you must follow at all times. If this rule is broken the contract will be over and your careers will be ended." 

Wow that's harsh i thought to myself. I glanced over at Simon and he gave me a reassuring nod.

"You both are not allowed to break up. Is that clear?" 

I looked over at Alex and smiled really widely. Why would i break up with him? And i saw no reason for him to break up with me.. right? I dismissed that thought from my head. He loves me. 

We both assured Mike and Archer we would not break up, to be greeted with a stack of offical looking papers to sign. 

As soon as we got out of the building Alex said, "Babe wanna get some tacos?" 

I laughed and took his hand once more as we went on a great search for a taco bell.
