chapter 2: crushing

david's POV:
after i spilled that beautiful girl's latte on her shirt, i just wanted to die of embarrassment.
i walk up to my best friend, alex, who tried holding his laughter with his hand.
i chuckle.
"shut up, alex" i say, with a grin.
we both laughed as we both saw the beautiful girl i saw earlier walk in to the same classroom me and alex are in.
i ran as fast as i could to reach the girl, as i felt a tap on my shoulder.
i jumped
"HAHA"
i hear that familiar voice
i turned my head and saw the girl
i looked over to my side and saw alex pumping his fists and mouthing "yes" multiple times.
we both exchange glances and i gave a little laugh.
i look back to the girl as she was waving at alex and grinning
"hey... im really sorry about earlier, it was an accident..." i say quietly
she puts her hand on my shoulder and giggles
"it's fine, don't worry about it" the girl says, with a huge grin on her face.
i stare blankly.
"say, what's your name?" i ask
"liza, it's liza" liza says as she pulls her hair behind her ears and looks down.
"your name is david, right?" liza asks, as her eyes are now traced along the floor.
i smile
im guessing her friends knew me, her embarrassment is so cute to me.
"yeah" i say with a laugh
we both exchanged glances once again as we got told off by our math teacher to pay attention.
we both gazed at each other as i gave liza a wink.
her dark brown eyes light up, as i play with her hair and try doing a very horrible braid.
as we all got dismissed, i heard liza mumble something that i couldn't understand.
i glance over to her as she gave me a small wave and smiled.
i was falling for liza very quickly, the way her eyes light up just makes me wanna kiss her.
her laugh is contagious.
there was so many things i could say about liza, but there was too many.
i come up to alex as he pushes me hard.
i thought he was just playing around until i heard his grumbles.
"stay away from liza, you hear me?!" alex says, angrily.
i was confused, he's never mentioned liza until now?
i then see kids surround me and alex
they all chant "fight, fight, fight!"
i was shaking, i didn't know what to do.
i wasn't going to fight my best friend, that's ridiculous.
i then heard a familiar voice...
"HEY!! LEAVE HIM THE FUCK ALONE!!" the voice said
i glanced up and saw her...
