Let me tell you a story. There was this beautiful girl. She was always smiling at school and everyone thought she had it so easy, but they didn't know what went on at home. They didn't know her mom was a druggie and an alcoholic, or that her dad beat her on a daily basis. They didn't know that she was struggling with her sexuality. They didn't know she wore long sleeves because she cut at least 20 times on each arm every day. They didn't know why she killed herself. The saddest part is that they didn't know, not because she was good at hiding it, but because no one ever asked her how she was doing, or wanted to listen to her. They were to wrapped up in petty drama.
