I walk out of the bathroom. The poisonous smell of my lunch flows out from the open door. I look up into a pair of gorgeous green eyes. They have a perfect tint of brown in the outer circle making them unique and impossible to compare with. But that's how Ana is, impossible to reach, but hard not to try.
"Good job, Grace! It's only moving forward for you, soon you'll get as skinny as I am!"
"But Ana, you get skinnier every day!"
"That's just hard work and talent, dear! Now, go to your room and exercise. I can't look at all this fat when you're doing nothing!"
The words hurt, but she only wanna help me. She tells the cold hard truth, but she's all I got to trust.
I walk into my room and do the usual training for two hours.
"Remember, love, sweat is fat; crying! So make that body cry me a river!"
She sings the last four words. Even her voice is perfect. It all starts from the dark brown hair to the 3 inch Mary Janes on her feet. Every single particle of her is perfect.
I stand up from my spot and Ana follows me from her seat on the bed to her usual seat on the toilet and me in the shower. When I get out and sit on the bathtub she's writing in her black book. The black book is filled with my weight, height and progress for everyday. She also takes a Polaroid picture of me in my tiniest bikini to compare.
"Today: 28th of December. 1 pack of baby carrots, a 200 calorie salat, 3 bottles of water... anything I need to add, Grace?"
"N-no..."
"Grace Jadelin Keller, tell me."
I look up in her eyes. I know this look, it's that look telling me "Say what you ate and I'll love you" until I tell her and she turns into a monster.
"It was only 100 calories, I swea-"
"100 CALORIES? Grace! What have I told you! Do you wanna get fatter? I work so hard on you every single day! You're such a pig! Come on, you know what to do!"
She stands up from the toilet and points at it with a furious look.
"Grace, you know you have to!"
I stand up and lift the toilet seat. I get on my knees and stick two fingers in my throat till the chocolate bare ends in the water.
"Good girl. Now you've learned your lesson! Don't do it again!"
I nod slowly and walk into my room. I put on a pair of long sweat and a oversized t shirt on and look in the mirror.
"Don't worry, one day you can wear skinny jeans and look ama-"
Ana's gone before I see where she went and my mom stands in the door way.
"Who are you talking to, Grace?"
"Huh? Oh! No one... Just me"
"Okay dear, dinners ready!"
I walk down the stairs and sit on the chair. Lasagne, good. It's easy to fake eating lasagne. I slice it up with my knife and take bites on my fork. I move the metal full of calories to my mouth, but just before it ends in my mouth I ask my mom a question. Then the fork makes it's way to the plate and I move the food around. In the end, it's a big pile of slices lasagne which ends in the cabbage.
"Wow, you where hungry today!"
My mom smiles and Ana stands in the doorway showing thumbs up.
She's proud of me she mouths.
My goal for today is reached.
