Emma and Killian|| au

Chapter 6

Sorry if I make the story worse every time I update. Please please give give some feedback so I know how to make the story better. Hope you enjoy this update!

Emma's POV.
I walk into our dorm, and I am surprised. Literally.
"SURPRISE." Robin, David, Mary- Margaret, Anna, Elsa, Will, and Belle all yell when I close the door.
"Wha- How did you know?"
"Well you told me and I told them." Belle said
"Oh" I say. "Well it's not really a day for celebrating."
"Emma, how could you say that. Your birthday is one of the most important days. You should always celebrate it." Killian says.
"Yeah well I didn't really get to in the foster system." I say and everyone looks makes a sad look on their face.
"Alright then. Should we eat some cake?" Mary- Margaret suggests.
"Sure." Everyone says.

We eat our cake and talk for a little bit after.

"Alright guys, time for presents." Killian says.
"You guys didn't have too-"
"We, well, I wanted to." He says after walking out of his room with 3 wrapped gifts.
"Well you guys are very sweet."

I open my first gift that was from Mary M. and David.
"Oh. Gee. Thanks guys I'll really need these, you know, since I obviously have a boyfriend." I say obnoxiously.
"Well, you never know." Mary says and looks at Killian and I roll my eyes.

The next box is from Belle, and she got me a necklace, that is just a circle.
"Aww. Thank you Belle. This is so sweet."
"You are very welcome. I have a slight feeling you'll use this more than you'll use those." She says and points toward my gift from Mary M. and David.
"Yeah. Me too." I say and every one laughs.

I open the next box, which was bigger. It had a Keurig coffee pot and a mug.
"Oh thanks Killian. You know we already have one right." I say.
"Yes I do. But this one is the one you deserve. It's fancy." He says.
"Yeah I know. I've seen the commercials."

Soon after, we said our goodbyes to all of our friends, and they left.
"Put your shoes on love." Killian says.
"Um, ok?" I say and put my shoes on.
"We're going on an adventure-"
"Killian-"
"Shush. It's not gonna be a long one."
"ok." I says and we walk out the door and into the car.

After about 15 minutes of driving, well, riding, we come to a stop.
"Alright. I hope you're up for a walk."
"Well I guess it's your lucky day." I say and we get out.

We didn't walk for long, and soon I could see a picnic with just fruit.
"Come on love. Have a seat and some fruits."

I sit down, and he starts to talk.
"I know we haven't known each other for long-"
"Woah woah woah woah-"
"Calm down swan. I'm not proposing." He clears his throat. "As I was saying, I know we haven't known each other for long, but I feel like we've known each other for years. I also know, that whenever any other guy even looks at you, I wanna rip their throat out." I laugh. He takes a deep breathe.
"I promise I won't. I guess I'll just ask you. Emma, will you please be my girlfriend?" He asks and look at my eyes.
He looks away after about a second and looks down.
"I should've just waited I gue-"
"I'd love to be your girlfriend Killian." I say
"You would?"
"Yes"
"Well I would love to call you mine, well, kind of mine." He says.
"Well just have to wait."
"I guess we do." He says.
We ate all of our fruits, and we are now going back to his car.

We walk into our dorm, and Killian sits on the couch.
"I'm gonna shower. Do you need anything from the bathroom before I go?" I ask.
"No. Enjoy your shower love."

I finish in the shower, and as I'm walking out I see that Killian isn't on the couch anymore, but in his room.
He takes a shorter shower than I did. Once he got out, he started walking towards me on the couch. He sat next to me and we turned on a movie called Christmas With the Kranks. I don't know why a Christmas movie is on in the fall, but whatever.
