Chapter 3

Killians p.o.v
I wake up and start freaking out, but just for a second until I realize it's the weekend.
I get out of bed and just sit on the edge of it. I rub my hands through my hair and think. Then I put on a white t-shirt and walk out of my room and find Emma on the couch. I walk over to her and put a blanket on her and turn the tv off since it's quite loud.
I start to make breakfast and it is now 10:00 so I walk over to Emma and shake her a bit and whisper "Emma come on. It's time to wake up." She groans. "I know. We have plans. Come on love."
She sleeping flips over so that she is facing me. I realize she is not wearing makeup. "What plans?" She asks. "Well, I was kinda hoping I could take you to lunch then we could walk around town.?" I ask in kind of a question voice but still kinda in my regular voice. "Ok. Hold on." She says and gets up. "Well good morning love."
"Good morning. I get that it's 10 but damn it feels like it's 3 am." She says
"Oh, well I'm sorry that I woke you but you wouldn't want to waste your day sleeping now would you?"
"No. Not really." She says "Ok then. Stop whining and come eat, breakfast is ready." I say and she comes to the little bar we have in our kitchen and eats.
After we get done eating and get ready for our day, we get into my car. "Well, is there anything you would like to see first?"
"Not really. I don't know much about this town." She says. "Ok then. I know the perfect place to start our day." I start my car and drive away.
"This coffee shop is my favorite, come on."
"Oh. Alright." She says.
We get into the coffee shop and walk up to the counter. I knew this place would be fine because there's not a lot of people in here.
"Order whatever you want love. Its on me."
"Oh. Ok. Well, then I'll have a hot cocoa with cinnamon on top." She says
"Anything else or is that it?" "That's all." She says.
We both order our drinks and get our drinks and walk out. "I think you'll like the place we're going next." "Oh do you now?" She says. "Yup."
We get into my car and I drive to a forest.
"Oh. So you've brought me to a forest. Now what?"
"Just wait. Come with me." I say and grab her hand. I lead her into the forest until we meet a little river. "Oh, this is beautiful, but why did you want to bring me hear?" She asks. "I come here when I need to think, or when I am just stressed. And the river isn't what I want to see." I say and we walk to across a bridge that leads to the other side of the river. After that, I lead her to a little waterfall. When we first get there, her eyes light up. "Oh my god, this is beautiful." She says. I smile.
"I knew you'd like it." We sit on a little bench, and since people go there all the time, they eventually made a bench.
Once we sit down, she leans against my side. At first I was a little confused, but then I just wrapped my arm around her. We just sit there with our coffees, each other, and watch the waterfall. "Thank you Killian. I needed this." She say. "No problem, love,"
After awhile it starts to get a little bit dark. "Come on, it's time to go home." I say in a whisper because she fell asleep. "No. I don't wanna go. This is beautiful and I'm comfortable." She says.
I pick her up and carry her to my car and gently set her inside of it and drive to our dorm.
Once we get there, I carry her up to her room. I gently set her down on it. I put the blankets up on her and gently kiss her head. "Goodnight, Emma."
