Emma's POV
The whole crew, including me, have been going to school for a few more weeks now, and none of us have much classes together. That surprised us all because there is quite a bit of us and there aren't very many classrooms.

Killian and I's relationship has been slow. Quite slow, actually. He's still sleeping alone in his room while I'm still sleeping all alone in mine. I just don't know when I will be able to take more steps in our relationship.
I think I have commitment issues.
It's the only possible explanation.
Maybe because I think about the past too much, or maybe because of the future. But I know that as soon as things start to sprout in our relationship, I won't be able to do to much at a time.

I'm in my room, only because it's 3 am, it's snowing outside which makes it cold in our dorm, and it's quiet. I don't even know if Killian is up, all I know is that I am.

I wake up 3 hours later to someone pounding on the door. There is a very short list of people who actually know where I am, my so called parents don't even know. All they know is that I'm at college, probably failing and going to party's all the time.

The pounding continues, but this time there is a voice.

"Emma. I know your in there. Just open the damn door or I'm gonna have to break it down." And of course, it's the only person that knows how to make anyone's life worse.

Killians POV.
I wake up to a stranger pounding on the door, asking for Emma. I can tell by his tone of voice that he is mean, very mean. I do the first thing I think of, and call David. He'll know what to do.

Phone call
David: Hey Killian what's u-
Killian: I don't have time for that. There's someone banging at our door asking for Emma.
David: Okay. I'll call my dad and tell him to hurry up and get here. You should probably go see if Emma is okay, ya know, since someone is at the door for her and you're on the phone with me.
Killian: okay. Thanks David. See you later
End phone call

I hang up before he can reply, because I need to get to Emma.

I knock and open her door, and she is sitting on her bed. Not doing anything. Just sitting there.

"Emma, are you okay?" I ask and she just looks at me.

"He's here. You need to leave. I'll handle this." She gets up and tries to walk past me to the door, but I don't let her.

"I can't let you do that."

"Why. I can protect myself. I don't need your help."

"I know you can protect yourself, but I also know that that man is not here to stop by and ask how you've been doing. He's sounds very mean and I'm not letting you leave this room until I know your safe." She just rolls her eyes and sits back on her bed.

"Whatever."

We sit there for about an hour and a half, before David calls me and tells me that his dad got him to leave.

Emma's POV.
I know that he is trying to be dashing and rescue me from this awful man, but he doesn't know him like I do. I know everything about that man, standing at our door, pounding as hard as he can. I also know that he is not going to stop coming here until he has either seen me and tell me how awful and useless I am, or he is going to take me.

Can you guess who this mysterious man is? I'd like to know who you think it is, because I honestly don't know who I'm going to chose. 🌹
