I walk into my castle and to my surprise, everyone is calm and enjoying their stay. A little girl with glowing bright yellow eyes runs up to me and hugs my leg. "Commander!! You came back! I missed you Commander! You are my hero!" Her tiny little fangs look so cute and her brown little curls bounce with every word she speaks. "I missed you too little one. Are you having a good stay here?" She starts to jump up and down in excitement, "This is the best place ever!" Her mom then sees me and her conversing and runs up to me to retrieve her. "Commander Rose, please forgive me! Jasmine didn't mean to bother you.. I know I should've kept her more close by. You're all she ever talks about and you're what she wants to be when she grows up." I'm flattered and I look into Jasmine's bright eyes and say, "Is this true? You want to be me when you reach your peak age?" She gives me a big smile, "Yes Commander! I love you!" Love, I haven't heard someone say they love me in a very long time. My mind starts to drift to Alice, what had happened between us? I need to sort things out with her and research why we felt odd after I shared my blood with her. I refocus my attention to Jasmine once more and after this conversation, I'll go to research the matter. "Well Jasmine, i'm truly honored! I can tell you're such a special girl, so I want to give you a gift." I didn't think it was possible, but her face brightens even more. I took off a ring I was wearing with a little lightening bolt engraved in it, took her little soft hand in mine and placed it on her pointer finger. I say, "When I was little, I was given this ring. I was told it was to be looked upon in a time of fear and that the little lightening bolt would give me strength. I was to be reminded that i'm as strong and as powerful as lightening. Jasmine, you contain a great strength within those bright eyes of yours, don't forget to shine." Her mom gives me the best smile and Jasmine hugs me, then runs off to brag about her new gift from me to her friends. Her mom whispers thank you to me really quickly and runs off after her daughter. I go to see if Isabel is in her room to let her know I've returned before going to do research. I knock on her door, "Isabel it's me Rose, are you in there?" There's a lot of shuffles and then she opens the door. "Please come in Commander, I'm pleased to see you've returned." I walk in and lie on her bed. She appears to not know what to do and shuffles awkwardly around the front of her bed. I giggle and say, "For goodness sake Isabel just come and lay down next to me." She warily makes her way towards her bed and finally lays down next to me. I flip over and look at her, her cheeks become flustered. I could hear her heartbeat rise, so I say what's on my mind, "Isabel, we've been friends since we have been born. Then I became Commander and everything changed between us. I'm not a good person Isabel; I can't be. I have to be ruthless, but sometimes I miss the old times. The times where you and I we're just learning how to use our powers and you would light peoples pants on fire for a good laugh. I would play pranks on you and shock you when I'd touch you." She turns to face me and that's when I truly noticed how charming she is. Her white and silver hair, deep grey eyes that held so much emotion, her pale and soft skin, her pink lips,her sexy smile, her long fangs, and her soothing voice; she is gorgeous. She stares back at me and I want to know what she is thinking, but i'm not going to look using mind compulsion. She clears her voice and says, "Rose.. over these few hundred years I have seen such a drastic change in you. You have a darkness that brews in your firey soul, but that's a good thing. You have me guessing what you'll do next and I can't stand not knowing sometimes. I miss the old times too, but Rose you do what you must and sacrifice your own sanity for our people. However much I miss your innocence, I love your bad side even more. I love you for who you are and I always have." I just stare into her grey eyes and it seems like her heart is about to beat out of her chest." She reaches her arms out and grabs my hand; her thumb is drawing circles on top of mine. I say, "What're you thinking Isabel?" She continues to look deep into my red eyes and I let her. She moves her stare down for a brief moment to look at my lips. She says, "Rose.. my feelings for you have only grown stronger and stronger, but you keep me in the dark as I don't know how you feel. I want you Rose, but.." I put a finger on her lips to silence her, then I move on top of her. I lean down and give her a deep kiss and she kisses me back just as passionately. She moves her arms down my back and pulls my waist closer to hers. She flips me over while kissing me at the same time. She leans up and rips my armor off and kisses my neck slowly moving down. I flip her over getting on top of her once more and I move her hands above her head pinning her down. I go down to kiss her again, but then I feel a searing pain in my head and a burning sensation on my arm. I scream out holding my head and soon blood begins to seep from my nose as well as my wrist. Isabel is hysterical and I try to assure her i'm okay, but my thoughts become unclear. My vision is blurred, my body is shaking uncontrollably, and I pass out with the last thought appearing in my mind is....Alice?
