Luna Eclipse was not an ordinary girl, she was different from all the other girls and boys in her town. She wasn't a rich kid, she wasn't a poor kid. She was a child that lived on a farm selling crops to survive. She lived with her mother and sister in a small building of wood. Luna was the youngest daughter but she had the biggest heart when it came to supporting her family.

Luna was a small scrawny girl with pale blonde hair. Her clothing was ripped yet her face was beautiful. They never had left over food and they all slept in the same room. This was her life until that day. Somewhere in the woods was an elf. She was being hunted by a dark sorcerer because she stole something from him. It was an egg. But it wasn't a chicken's egg, it was the last dragon egg.

The elf had white hair yet she was quite young. Her dress was made of green silk and she wore a riding hood that was black. Her steed was a dark brown and its mane flowed through the wind as it sped around a tight corner. The surrounding path was narrowing until it came to an end. She had nowhere to go. She had to hide the egg in her horse pouch as she knew he would know she was lying. As soon as she had hidden it he arrived. She was terrified of what he could do to punish her.

His scared face shone in the moonlight as he was pure white with half his face burnt off. Her voice stuttered as she told him she had not the egg. He knew she was lying as he made a poisoned tipped arrow and a bow. He shot it at her as she fell of her horse in pain. The steed being frightened ran out of the forest and to a clearing that was close to Luna's home. Luna awoke to the sound of hooves and ran outside to find the elves horse.

She heard a scream as she ran into the forest. She followed the continuous screams saying you'll never find it. She arrived where the elf layed as she hid behind a tree. Luna peered where the sorcerer was but she stood on a twig snapping it and the sorcerer know she was there. He spoke in a cold dark voice saying her name. She closed her eye's trying to block out the noise. When she opened them she realized that she was standing next to the elf on the ground.

Luna saw an arrow in her shoulder and tried pulling it out. The elf stopped her and whispered something Luna could just hear. She told her of the egg in the horse's bag. Luna remembered the horse running from the woods to her home, as well as seeing a bag attached to the saddle. The elf then screamed louder as Luna covered her ears. The elf was looking terrified behind Luna. Luna snuck a peek at the sorcerer but he just punched her out cold.

All she saw was the man carrying the elf with her until she just saw darkness. In the morning she awoke with a fright as she saw eyes on her. She opened her eye's more to find a pack of wolf pups licking her face. She tried pushing them of her as she realized a hand out for her, it was a hunter. He helped her up out of the wolves' tongues. He was a ragged man who had dark brown hair. He was as tall as her. Then it hit her, literally. A rock hit her head and again she was out cold.

She awoke in a small building to find a cloth on her head. She looked around to find the boy sitting next to her dabbing a damp cloth on her cut. "You're awake." He said as he got some green tea. He poured it into some cups. He passed her one cup. She sat up and thanked him for the tea. She asked for his name and he said it was Henry.

Henry helped her back to her home and welcomed her back anytime. When he had left she ran back to the horse and went straight to the bag. There, as the elf said, was a dragon's egg. It was a grey and gold colour. She then noticed a small crack on the side. Then it started to shake. She picked it up and ran to Henry's house. She knocked and he opened the door and before he could say hello, she entered. She told him to close the door and lock it. He was going to question her why but then he saw the egg. He realized it was the sorcerer's egg and freaked out.
