Chapter 11: Riding with him

We heard the host announcing our band's name. We went in the the stage and perform. After we perform, we waited in our room. After 30 minutes, we heard the host announcing that the audience can vote now. After 5 more minutes, the host began the countdown. Then the coordinator gave a card to the host.

"Thank you for voting, audience."the host said," now let's get the bands in stage."

We and the other bands went to the stage.

"Are you ready to know whose band is the winner?"the host asked.

"Yes."the audience yelled.

"Ok... The winner is... The Four Voices."the host said. The audience began to clap and scream.

"Omg. We won." Clair screamed.

"Whoa we win." Diana said very happily.

The host gave us the trophy. Then we raise the trophy and the audience began to scream again. We went to the backstage and saw Christine's parents.

"Mom, dad, we won." Christine said as she hugs her parents.

"We are so proud of your band." Christine's dad said.

"I'm so proud of you,little sis." Gabriel said as he walk to Diana.

"Thanks." Diana said.

"Where's Lily?" I asked and looked around.

"I don't know." Clair said.

I went to our room, change my clothes, and saw a sheet of paper folded in half was on top of the table. I went toward to the table, unfold the paper, and read:

Dear Ross,

Congratulations. I am very proud of you. Thanks you for all the help you done to me, but I need to go now. My father died because a war. I also need to go to sacrifice my life, so it your world will be safe. Please do not follow me. I need to face this alone. Farewell.
Love, Lily

After reading the letter, a tear dropped to the paper.

"What am I going to do?" I asked myself quietly," should I rescue her or should I wait here until she died?"

"You should rescue her." Rick said.

"How did you get in here? How did you know?" I asked.

"I opened the door." Rick said.

"Then..." I said.

"I am the little brother of Lily." Rick said.

"What." I said in a shock.

"Yes. My family sent me to guide Lily after she left the palace. I put a sleeping potion on the Queen, while you and Lily are breaking the cage. I also protect you and Lily when you two are out of your house, so the Queen will not find you." Rick explained.

"You protect us?" I asked.

"Yes." Rick said.

"By what." I asked.
