Future Vision? Part 1

"Hmmm what should I do..." You said to yourself as you walked back and forth through the same hallway in front on Pearl's room

"Dang it! Why did I even make that deal" You paused and made a mini flashback to the events that occurred minutes ago.

"Oh yeah... That's why. *Sigh* I kind of get it, but why do I have to kiss-"

"Ohhhh, a kiss you say" Your loud train of thought was interrupted by someone tall, someone who you trusted but was still skeptical about. A person whose words of wisdom were very useful and were surprisingly given at the right time. Ah yes, that person that claims to have 'Future Vision'

Garnet.

The square-haired girl was leaning in front of their dorm room as if she were blocking you to get some. You obviously didn't see her step out of [their] dorm room because you were too lost in thought. You figured she would go through drastic measures like these to get her what she wanted, but you were determined to leak nothing.

"Um no Garnet I think you misheard me. I did NOT just say kiss as I was walking "As you said this you were mentally scolding yourself for how obvious you were

"And you weren't talking to yourself either huh?" She calmly responds, confident that she heard you right

"I know about the deal" The square one suddenly claims

"WHA- WAIT!!! GARNET WHAT?! HOW?? WHO?????" Concerned, you loudly blurted out a lot of questions

"Two words. Future Vision" she bluntly goes

"So you were telling the truth" You were starting to believe Garnet's past claims of having the 'power'. You were always skeptical about this fact, but because of this you started to believe. Until...

"Actually, I overheard you and water girl when you made the deal. For someone like you to make a bold choice like that was unpredictable even for me. Well, Almost. "

"Well Garnet, for a start her name is Lapis Lazuli, and for your information, his choice can actually benefit me so I'm taking the risk"

"How can something like this actually benefit you?" Garnet asks

"This is my shot of actually finding peace in my school life. I'm not throwing away my shot" You answer. ((Get the reference?))

"(Y/N), If you go down this path you'll only hurt yourself"

"Is this advice from your so called 'Future Vision?'.  If it is then I want none of it" You coldly state

Somewhat satisfied by your answer Garnet stepped aside from the door she was leaning on. But just as you were about to enter Garnet spoke about the future with these exact words

"As of the moment you think that tea is what you want, but if the events will be aligned accordingly then will you realize how water is what you actually seek"

Okay so you weren't actually sure if it was Garnet telling you about the future or Garnet just giving you advice to drink water instead of tea. You didn't really understand what Garnet said so you just brushed her words off of your mind and filled it with the thought of Pearl instead. You were too busy day dreaming that you didn't notice how Pearl was waving her hand in front of your face trying to bring you back to reality. 

"O-oh, I'm sorry Pearl."

"It's okay. Now, shall we?" 

And with that, you entered her room. Unaware of the misery you were about to face.
