"W-what the hell was that?!?" She shouted , staring at Saeran.

"Didn't expect you to be a semideus" he said , plainly .

"A semi what?!?" She squinted her eyes , trying to understand what he was saying .

"Semideus" he repeated, sitting up properly to face her.

"What the fuck does that mean?" She shook her head .

"It means half-god. Also explains why you can see those creatures" he explained.

"And by the way, that thing that attacked you just now is called a Veedaliya" He added , running his fingers through his beloved hair again. She took a deep breath before puffing it out slowly  , tying her wet hair up into a bun , fixing her sleeves.

"And what is this Veeda-whatever bullshit you just said" Haneul groaned , rolling her eyes annoyingly.

"Veedaliya. It's a bloodsucker , they can release a poisonous venom if they bite you" he shrugged.

"So....it's like...vampire plus snake kind of shit" Haneul raised her eyebrows.

"Yea.... plus zombie..kinda"

"What do you mean kinda? And why didn't he 'bite' me?" She asked , making an air quotations with her fingers.

"That's because you're a semideus.. Veedaliya can't really touch semideus , they'll get burn . It's sort of like there's a barrier between a semideus and a Veedaliya" he hummed as Haneul started the car .

"Great! Not only I have a shitty job interview but also I almost got killed by some Veedaliya shit--Wait!---How did you find me?" She dramatically sighed .

"I can sense those things" he mumbled .

"You can sense? Like track them and stuff?" She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. Saeran nodded.

"Wait so...are you like a...semideus.. like me?"

"I'm a Baeggisa" he said. (Its cause u ma bae)

"Baeggisa? Doesn't that mean white knight in korean? Like a protecter?" She asked .

*fun fact: Baeggisa means white Knight in korean

"Yeah--I used to be a Veedaliya" As soon as he said that, Haneul slammed on the brakes , stopping the car, staring at Saeran-in fear.

"Get out!" She said , unlocking the door.

"Wait!--I don't mean I'm actually a Veedaliya."

"Then what the fuck are you!?" Haneul shouted at him with bulged eyes.

"Okay.. Just listen to me.. A person becomes Veedaliya when they're depressed or overwhelmed with greediness. Then, this very little creature called Krai will start getting attached to that person and eat that person's heart until he or she becomes a Veedaliya " he explained.
