****Alyssa's POV****

The idiot wanted to know if I liked ice cream. Who doesn't? And if he dated me before, which is really weird to say, then shouldn't he know?

"Of course!" I said with a partial smile. I would eat ice cream every day of the week if I could! He smiled and hopped up off of the sofa and held out his hand.

"Where are you taking me? I thought that we were just gonna watch the telly!"

"Come on! It's eight o'clock, the girls are asleep, and there is an amazing shop down the street with the best ice cream ever! Come on! Consider it our first date!" He said jumping up and down waiting for me to take his hand.

"But we can't just leave the girls alone! Someone has to watch them!" He put his finger to his chin and thought for a second. Suddenly he pulled out his phone and pressed a few buttons before putting it up to his ear. I took this time to walk out of the room to put on my pj's when suddenly, I felt his arm around my waist, stopping me. I let out a squeal and turned to see him still with the phone to his ear.

"Where do you think you're going?" He mouthed to me.

"I'm going to change you weirdo!" I said trying to break out of his grip, but I failed horribly due to my lack of strength.

"Hello Harry! Would you do me the honor of watching my children while I go get ice cream with my girlfriend?" He said in a quiet tone since we were next to the girls' bedroom. "NO! With Alyssa you egghead!" Who did Harry think was dating Louis? "Fine, 10 minutes!" Louis hung up and slipped the phone into his pocket.

"Harry will be over in ten minutes." Louis said as he spun me around so I was facing him. Our faces were dangerously close and that scared me a little. I felt his breath going down my neck as we stared into each other's eyes. I don't know how long we were standing like that, but I could look into his eyes forever. They were the perfect shade of blue and you could get lost in them with every look. Then without warning, he pulled on my waist and wrapped me in a hug. Honestly I expected him to kiss me, and I do not want that yet. I just wrapped my thin arms around his waist and put my head onto his shoulder and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around my neck and we stayed there until we heard a knock on the door. I pulled away from him sadly and grabbed his hand. I don't know why, but for some reason, I cannot be without his touch. We both walked over to the door and opened it to reveal Harry. He stared at us in shock but then smiled as we let him inside. Before we got to say anything, he immediately went to the girls' room. We just chuckled, knowing that he loved being around children. We didn't say anything to him and we walked out the door. I started going to his car, but he stopped me and pulled me towards the sidewalk.

"Lou, are we really going to walk there?" I asked him in a joking matter. "I'm already tired!" He just chuckled and pulled me along with him.

"I thought that we could have a romantic walk together! It's always a great first date!" He gave me a big grin and put his arm around my waist.

"But Louis, I'm tired!"

"I can carry you if you want love?" I slowly nodded, and let him pick me up bridal style. He slowly walked down the street, holding me in his arms and occasionally jumping to make sure that I didn't drop from his hold.

Finally, after what seemed to be forever, we were in front of the ice cream parlor. Louis set me down and grabbed my hand while opening the door for me with the other.

"You go find us a spot babe, I'll get yours." He whispered into my ear, even though no one else was here. I just nodded and went to a booth in the back of the parlor and waited for him to return. Without his hand in mine, I felt empty and cold; like I was missing something. I turned to look out the window into the darkness when suddenly; a person popped up from inside the bushes and held a camera to their face. There were bright flashes, and I had to cover my face so they didn't permanently blind me. I grabbed my head as I winced in pain as my headache returned like it does every day. I looked away only to see Louis coming toward me with two cones. He had a smile on my face until he looked behind me out the window, probably seeing the flashes as well.
