Chapter 17. dead.. or alive?

Normal POV

Shadow was standing there, just looking at Mephiles with wide eyes while Mephiles was laughing evil.
Mie walked over and just looked at them. Shadow couldnt belive what he heard, Sonic was 'asleep' right now.. but.. did that mean he was truely dead? or did Mephiles mean something else?.
Shadow turned his head down so much, that both Mephiles and Mie couldnt see his face. "Mephiles.. tell me the whole truth" he said in a dark voice, not even Mie have heard him use before. Mephiles smirked and started laughing. "he's not dead is he?" Shadow asked again. "Shadow Shadow Shadow.. I said he is 'sleeping'~ I never said he is dead~" he said evil only making Shadow more angry.

Shadows right hand started glowing red, while Mies lee was also starting to glow red. "tell os now... WHERE. IS. HE!" Shadow said angry ready together with Mie, to end Mephiles life if he didnt tell them. "fine fine!~ did you know Sonics favorite rose, is a blue rose?~" Mephiles said, only confussing Shadow and Mie. "yes.. but what does that have to do with anything?!" Shadow asked angry, Mephiles laughed. "Shadow Shadow~ don't you get it?~ don't you think he would like to 'be it' with his favorite rose?~" Mephiles laughed, and Shadows eyes widen. "...you transformed him into a blue rose.. didnt you?.." Shadow whispered, and Mephiles smirked. "hehe.. you finally got it~" Mephiles chuckled. "You see all thoise blue roses? You have one change to guess what rose Sonic is~ if you guess wrong... He dies!" Mephiles said and started to laugh evil. 

Shadow growled at Mephiles, but started to walk around to try to find out what Rose Sonic is. There was so many blue roses so it wasnt easy to get what rose was the right one, and then there is the fact that if he guess wrong his beloved Sonic would die..
Shadow bite his bottom lip because of how nervous he was, he wanted to ask Mie if she knew what rose it was, but he knew he couldnt ask her this was something he had to do alone.
Then.
There.
Between many roses was a small, lonly and weak looking rose. Shadow kept looking at it.
Maybe.
Just.
Maybe.
"It's this one.." Shadow whispered. "It gotta be this one.." Mephiles walked up to him. "So this weak one is your choice? Eh?" Mephiles said looking at Shadow with a blank face. Shadow nodded. 'It gotta be the right one..' Shadow thought bitting his bottom lip again.
A blue light started to shine on the rose, and secounds after Sonic was laying on the ground. Shadow's eyes widen.
He had been right.
Shadow quickly got down on his knees, and toke Sonic carefully into his arms. He carefully hold him and nuzzle him.

Whaam!..

Shadow looked at where he sound came from fast and could only chuckle. Mephiles was laying on the ground knocked out with a whimpering Mie standing behind him. "I couldnt listen to ONE more word from him.. He gives me head pain.." Mie said and whimpered like a little child that couldnt take it anymore.
Shadow rolled his eyes and stod up with Sonic in his arms, Sonic was asleep but he was breathing right. Only thing that was wrong with Sonic was that he was very cold, and that means he would have to get warm very soon.

"Mie please take us back to the castle." Shadow said and Mie nodded. Mie walked over to them at picked them up like they was nothing, and made her wings come out then she also picked Mephiles up. even thought she just wanted to leave him.

~back at the castle~

..Well lets just say nothing much was happening there, because of what Mie toke 'care' of earlier..

~back to the others~

Shadow was carefully holding onto Sonic while Mie was flying, he was also keeping an eye on Mephiles.
When they got to the castle they put Mephiles in the most secure room of all and made sure he couldnt move, not even just move a finger. After that they put Sonic in his bad. No guards was around, it was like time had stopped. Mie walked out of the room and only secounds after, it was like everything came 'alive' again. Only almost 5 min later the King and Queen was in the room.

The King and Queen had no idea of what had happend, because Mie and Shadow made sure not to tell them. They only told them that it was Mephiles that was behind it all, and that he had been captured. They was shocked but also very happy to hear the he had been captured.

Shadows POV

I sat beside Sonic on his bed, his parents had just left the room to go to where Mephiles is.
I smilled down at Sonic while I nuzzle his head, he was still cold but not as much as before. He still had not woken up, and I had to half lie to is parents and tell them that he was just tired and asleep even thought it is pretty right and not a totally lie.
I smilled and but it fell a little when I saw him shake a little because he is still cold, there wasnt anymore blankets in the room, and it was a bad idea to ask or walk out to get more because that would get stares from the other guards. I then smiled and laid down beside him, just as I laid down Sonic laid his head on my chest even though he was still 'asleep' or 'out cold'. He stopped shaking and was even smilling a little.

~one hour later~

Sonics POV

I woke up and slowly opend my eyes, at first I was confussed not remembering what have happend, but then I remember getting kidnapped by Mephiles again. My eyes widen and I looked around scared, then I could feel arms around me and I got even more scared thinking that it was Mephiles. "Hey your finally awake Sonikku~" at first I got scared by the voice, but then I heard that it was Shadow. I got so happy that I began to cry, I could feel Shadow tighten his grip on me and nuzzle me trying to make me stop crying.
I could feel Shadows lips on my head as he gave me a loving kiss. "Shh.. it's alright your back home" he said and I feelt more safe. I turned my head and looked him in the eyes, he smiled and I shyly kissed him. He kissed back and hold me close to him.

Shadows POV

I kissed him back and smirked a little in the kiss when I put a hand on his behind, he gasped and I put my toung in his mouth. He moaned and I smirked even more in the kiss, after some time I broke the kiss and Sonic was panting out of breath.
I chuckled 'he's just too cute' I smiled and nuzzle his head softly, he began to purr. "I love you Sonikku and your never gonna get taken away again" I said and kissed his cheek "I promise" I said still holding him close and never letting go. "I love you too Shadow-kun~" Sonic said and fell asleep.
