Ghost Kiss

By: Sasha

Prologue-

Cheeky

The clock ticked again. The clocks metal hand froze at the time of 2:55. I blinked hard three times, and time resumed. The class of obnoxious students didn't even notice to the slightest bit. Once again, I concentrated, while I blinked three times. The clock paused again.

The whole room was silent. Awkward faces were plastered amongst everyone. I chuckled to myself as I considered taking pictures to capture the moments.

I searched the room for who I was looking for. My eyes stopped at Ryaine, and began to sway over there. His frozen position was his elbow leaned on the fake-wooden desk. I shook my head and continued in his direction. My pace slowed down as I approached. I knew who he loved. I just knew.

His glazed eyes, were brown as his skin with his jet black hair not even an inch long. He always had this innocent look plastered to his face, just as I did. A look hiding my true identity.

I grabbed a piece of paper, and began to scribble down my first letter of wisdom to him since the day he moved away five years ago in third grade.

"Dear Ryaine,

It has been a long time, hasn't it? You couldn't for get me. Or did you? Anyway, I'm here again and I'm here to help you find your love. But that doesn't mean I can tell you. That's for you to figure out. She is the one that you have always known. The one who actually understands. She is the one who always looked at you as just a friend.

Good luck with love Ryaine. Don't let it smack you before you find it yourself...

-GK"

I hid it under his binder and sauntered back to my seat.

Midway, I turned around and pecked him on the cheek. Whether it was long overdue, or too big of a step, was an inside joke that had me mentally slapping myself.

This time, as I sat down in the blue, bland plastic seats, I stared at the clock blinking hard and long, four times. You saw everybody's positions change, and conversations go exactly back to where they were without a notice. Ryaine started to drone on again, until the 2:57 bell rang, and we all stuffed our school items in our back packs, and rushed out.

That's when he noticed the paper, and the pink lipstick mark on his right cheek. The mark I left after the note. After all, what would be love and a good-scare without a good ole kiss to go along with it all.

It's a short start, but I actually had this idea during my walk home... It's random but I'd like to take it somewhere. I hope you enjoy. Also I try to update three or more times a week, but it usually ends up being about twice a week. This wont get horrifying but more chilling in a way. This is my first shot at a paranormal like story mixed in with romance, so enjoy the roller coaster of this story.

New update probably tomorrow.

Fan me, comment, vote and enjoy. Also feel free to have me check out any of your stories and you to check out any of my others.
