Ghost Kiss
Chapter Two-
Meeky Fall
…Continued
Ryaine’s POV
I glanced around the gym, sweaty kids with their foreheads dripping, their hair flipping. I wiped the side of my cheek noticing the “Bahamas Majestic Pink” lipstain on the side of my cheek, and the hairs on the back of my neck stood high. I knew somebody who bared the color but on the edge of my tongue was who.
I saw not a soul wearing the color and I haven’t in a while actually, not since about third grade. I scooted away from my spot and bore into the eyes of the now entering Chassidy. She wore the uniform blue shorts that covered her thighs loosely, and the dark blue t-shirt that read, “Morton Spirit”.
Her hair was curled, and thrown back in a ponytail . Like a waste of curled hair. Her jaw outlined her head very smoothly, and soon behind her was Reagan. Her blonde ginger hair hanging in a low ponytail with bangs the cover both sides of her head falling out nicely.
My pocket crinkled as I messed with my sweaty hands. I reached and tugged a note out.
When I finished reading it, I felt like every eye in the room turned to me, but as I peered around, I only saw Reagans eyes boring into mine.
Soon after Chassidy glared to as if they had some thought connection? My head ached, and before I knew it the world began to dance in circles around me, yells and squeaks of shoes turned into hearts, and painful screams of agony. My eyes shut tight like an air-lock. My feet slipped from under me, and I crashed to the ground.
Reagans POV
Ryaine tumbled to the ground, his feet failing him, his wrist cracked as he used it to block the fall. Chassidy cringed and truned away, I shook my head at her and neared Ryaine. I havoered over him and his eyes snapped ajar.
“You!” he pointed. “Ghost Kiss—“
Behind me I heard somebody giggle a high pitched one. And I felt myself whimper at the cruelty of its sound.
