Yesterday (November 22nd, 2016), a good friend of mine, one that became like family to me, lost her battle to cancer. She was one who had spirit, humor, and love. Though I only knew her for a year, she became part of my family and I will always remember her as my cousin.
She thankfully passed away peacefully and I hope now that she is no longer in pain and I hope she in heaven, praising God. No one but God knows whether she accepted Him into her life and that she is in heaven, but I truly believe that she did and I believe that she is in heaven now. I believe this because yesterday, the YouVersion Bible app verse of the day says this. But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NLT). I believe that God was telling me that He's got Katya and she okay now.
Katya, you are missed and we love you and always will. Rest in peace. 😢

You may remember the important prayer request I put out early this year. Well that girl Kate I told you about, that is Katya. Both of her parents are here know and got to be with her before she passed, so that is a praise. I would like to thank all of you who have been praying for Katya (Kate), I greatly appreciate that you were willing to pray for a girl you never met. I would now like to ask you to pray for Katya's parents. Pray that they will come to know God and pray that they will make it through this loss. And also pray for my aunt and uncle, who were Katya's host parents, pray for them as they struggle through this difficult time.
