the day we almost got caught

We have been going to the same store for years. some other vampires work there amongst the living. When we finally got there a old friend of my parents saw us. she hasn't seen any of us in 43 years, So we had run out of there and go back home do the rest of our shopping there. She sent the sheriff after us we might have knocked over her cart of groceries, But when we got to town they lost us. Years ago kasy's dad put a invisible force field that hides the town from the naked eye. We had to put it up after a family found out all of your secrets. They now live with us as werewolves. Don't judge us, we had to do it. If people found any of us they could find us all and who knows what they would do to us. There are these terrible stories of some of us going missing taken by the outsiders and never seen again. None of the town wants that to happen ever again. We almost got caught that day. But from that day on they kept looking for us. So we had to stay low. Next time we might not get away. But that won't stop us from leaving.
