Melody pov
My heart started beating frantically it couldn't be he can't be here my whole body begain to shake I felt his arms hold me in place.

"Shhhhh it's okay" he whispered

I looked up at him and said " What are you doing here you made it clear you didn't want me when you rejected me"I expected it to come out fearless instead it came out small ,soft and full of fear.

He laughed a deeper laugh "you thought  you could get rid of me that easy ha its only the beginning besides "

He leaned down to kiss my forhead I spat on him.

He growled and grabbed my arm and started shaking me "you will respect me after all i was your first mate".

"Yeah but you wernt my last I will never go back to you.your words broke me and I will never forgive you besides I have a new mate"I added a smirk to make me look strong.

But I was just vulnerable as ever and I felt guilty for putting ace in this but I couldn't take my words back now.

"He laughed oh your talking about Alpha ace you don't have to worry about him I sent some guys who owed me a favor to take care of him"

My heart sunk wouldn't I feel it ,of course I couldn't we havnt started the mating process my body went tense I couldn't believe it he was  gone  I begain to shake.

But it wasn't from  fear .....my wolf was taking over and she was ready to avenge her mate but he was to fast and he jumped out the window and disappeared before I could finish shifting .

I mentally cursed at myself  I almost showed him my wolf .my mind drifted back to ace I tried to get in contact with him using my mind.

I know what your thinking  he hasn't even marked me but when I said I was special I meant it ,I have my ways im not ordianary.

When he didn't respond I got worried I jumped out of bed and ran to the woods I took of my clothes made sure no-one was watching and I shifted put my stuff in my mouth.

With my enhance speed  and my  werwolf speed In 30 min  (normally it would have tooken 1 hour )I made it at least within a mile from his pack and I shifted back to human and put my clothes on and ran as fast as I could .

I made it into his land and his patrol was coming to get me I immediately punched and shoved and kick my way through I knocked out at least  15 of his guys before I made it to his house.I was still astonished by the size but i put my thoughts to the side  he was the whole reason i was here.

My eyes was blood shot red I went to his door and turned the knob it was locked I broke the door down the room reeked of blood and not ordianry blood.

Werewolf blood I got scared immediantly I ran up the stairs and opned the door to what I assumed was his bedroom no-one was their anger soured  through me .

I ran to the room next door and opned the door with too much force it broke .

As I looked into the room I realized it was ace  office  and looking up at me was a shocked expression that came from my mate he stood up and i couldnt help but to run up to him and hug him.

He was shocked at first but hugged back I inhaled his scent

"Your ok" I breathed

"Uh yeah " he said confused

I let go feeling weird as he looked down at me .

"Long story" I breathed

"I got time" and he sat down and  motion for me to sit down in front I him i took a deep  breath and started.

Ace pov

I asked my beta kingston to clean up the mess 3 hours later my house was silent but still reaked of blood .

I took a shower and went into my  office  I felt someone  trying to contact me me in the link by I blocked then  I needed to work on my alpha stuff .

I heard a loud noise downtstairs but I just suspected it was one of the pack members everyone is aloud in my house unless I said otherwise.

I heard heavy footsteps coming up the stairs I was confused for a second but I figured it was king it was silent as I heard a door open then closed before I knew it my door was open and off it's hindges.

From the smell of lavender woods and vanilla I knew it was my mate I'm sure confusion was written on my face as I stared at her.

She breathed a breath of relief she sat my door down as I stood up she hugged me and said

"Your ok" I felt her relax in my arms

I ignored the tingles"Uh yeah " I responded confused

"Long story" was her response

"I got time" I motioned her to sit down

She told me everything from the beginning to the end. My mouth was opened in shock as i processed her words .

But the only thing I could focused on was she has another mate before me and he wanted her back.

Questions   ran through my mind

Did she want him back? Did she reject me because of him?

I was confused I didn't know wether or not I wanted to know these answers .
