Kris Imagine - Hold Me

Imagine going to the store to buy the DVD for a movie you really wanted to watch. Sadly when you got there, someone took the last copy just a few seconds before you. It was Kris. He offered it to you, seeing that you were dying to get the copy but you denied his offer. Not knowing what else he could do, Kris put his arms on your shoulders to comfort you.
"If you'd like, I can invite you over to my house this weekend and we can watch it together?" He offered.
A smile lighted up on your face and you nodded.
"Okay, then I'll see you this weekend?" He asked.
You nodded to confirm.
The week finally passed by; it seemed to be the longest week because you were dying to spend time with Kris. He gave you a call telling you he was downstairs your house. It was pretty late in the afternoon because he just got off work. When you got on the car, he was quiet. It stayed that way the entire ride to his house. When you got to his house, he went to shower while you made dinner. Because majority of the time Kris orders to go for dinner, you wanted to make dinner for him that were more nutritious and good for his health. Right after his shower, he just laid in bed feeling exhausted. When dinner was almost ready, you went in to his room. He seemed to be asleep so you just looked at him, not knowing what to do. You laid down besides him and for a moment you just looked at his back. Then you whispered, "I'm not really interested in the movie. I mean I am, but I wanted to be with you. You're not even mine, but I miss you so I always find a reason to be with you. Yet I'm always so quiet because you make my heart flutter so much. The words I wanted to say, I've been dying to tell you, but every time I get the chance, it's like I forget how to talk. Sometimes I wish you knew how to read my mind.."
Without realizing it, he was listening the entire time. You only realized that when his arms grabbed yours. He pulled you into his arms and held you tight in his arms. Your head was against his chest and you could hear his heart beating faster and faster yet all you could see was him with his eyes closed as if he was still asleep. You let minutes and minutes slip away as you laid there in his arms because you didn't know how to react; you just felt embarrassed that he heard what you said. It was just the same as a confession. When you remembered about dinner, you finally made a sound.
"Dinner is getting cold," you mumbled.
He smiled but still didn't open his eyes. He just continued to hold you in his arms. A moment later he got up and you followed behind. He turned around to hold your hands and walks you as if he was guiding you around his house to the kitchen. As you ate, you stayed silent because you were still embarrassed and surprised. Kris was the only one talking the entire time and he just kept saying how amazing your cooking is. You smiled as you kept thinking about how you kind of confessed to him at first and how he pulled you in his arms. After dinner, you watched the movie together. He sat on one end of the couch while you sat on the other. He moved closer to you and put his arms around you. Slowly you leaned against his chest and eventually wrapped your arms around his waist. Unable to really focus on the movie, he smiled and kissed the top of your head.
