Tegwen stood with a blank expression as one of Mary Lou's three children attempted to hand her a leaflet. Not wanting to be bothered with the foolish propaganda that the foul woman was spewing, she swatted the paper away from her, only to hear the older girl let out an irritated huff. Glancing over at the child, while removing her eyes from the creature for a second, she flashed an apologetic look.

"Sorry, I already have loads of them at home," She told the girl before looking back to the stairs, only to see the creature having a field day among the coins in the beggar man's hat. She saw Newt lunge for it and as Mary Lou's daughter went to see what Tegwen was looking at, the woman quickly shoved the child to the ground, causing the girl to scream out. The crowd became distracted as they looked to see what had caused the child to yell, but Tegwen moved fast away from the scene.

Hurrying up the stairs of the muggle bank, she stopped herself a couple of steps up, debating whether or not to get involved. She took a step back down and paused for a moment. She could easily just walk down the steps and continue on her way to get lunch. Nothing was stopping her, except for the annoying voice at the back of her head, urging her forward. Not to mention, her stomach was cursing her for depriving her of food for so long.

Taking another step down, it seemed her stomach was in control of her actions until a hand rested on her shoulder. She let out a shriek before a hand covered her mouth. Turning her head, she sighed in relief but still could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she identified the person beside her.

"Merlin's beard, Tina, you can't go sneaking up on people like that!" Tegwen told the woman as she placed her hand over her chest and took a deep breath.

"Sorry," Porpentina Goldstein, otherwise known as Tina, flashed her an innocent smile. "I wasn't expecting to see you here, but I'm so glad you are. You saw that...didn't you? That thing...with that man? He's acting rather strange."

"Uh," Tegwen ran a hand through her hair. "I don't know what you're talking about, Tina. I'm actually on my way to lunch, um...you got something on your-

She tried to point out a mustard stain on Tina's upper lip, but Tina grabbed her by the back of her jumper and began moving forward.

"I know you saw it," the woman said pulling her along. "And I'm recruiting you to help me."

"My specialty is Herbology, I'm not an Auror like you, remember? If you're going after someone-"

"I'm not an Auror anymore, remember?" Tina smiled at her.

"Oh dear," Tegwen sighed as she dragged up the stairs and into the bank.

At first, neither woman spotted Newt and Tegwen sighed in relief.

"Oh look, nothing to see here, we should be going-" She tried to leave again, but Tina held her in place.

"There," Tina nodded her head. "There he is."

"I don't see anyone!" Tegwen announced looking everywhere but in the direction of where she saw Newt moving about. He seemed to be inching his way towards something, but she quickly looked away.

"Look with your eyes, Tegwen!"

Tegwen shot the woman a look, causing Tina to become slightly red in the face. "Er...you know what I meant. Just..you can't miss him, I mean, look at him."

The two women were hiding behind a rather large pillar, watching Newt race about in search of the niffler. Tina was right, it was hard to miss the man causing a scene in the bank, which was why she was so curious as to why other people weren't growing suspicious of his actions. What he was doing traveling with a niffler, Tegwen didn't understand, but she didn't want to question it either. She just wanted to get out of there before there was any sort of interaction between them.
