Unlikely Love (Barry)

Barry's POV

I was speeding down the street when I saw another person speeding next to me. We looked at each other and then the person sped up and ran away. I ran after them and when I caught up I shoved them to the side and slid to a stop walking over to them. The person stood up catching their breath and then turned around.

It was a girl. She had brown hair pulled into a braid that fell down her back. She wore a suit similar to mine with mask that went over her eyes.

"Who are you?" I asked curiously

"Well Flash, I'm just like you." She walked closer to me, our bodies almost touching.

"I'm Fast." She ran her finger up my chest and over the lightning bolt symbol.

"Super fast." She looked at me her bright blue eyes staring into mine.

"Maybe even faster than you." She poked me in the chest with her finger.

"You're not faster than me." I replied still staring into her eyes.

"Oh really? Let's race then. Let's see who's the fastest."

"You're on."

We decided to run from one end of the street to the other and back.

She ended up beating me by a second.

"Looks like I'm the fastest after all." She smirked.

I just stood there, thoughts of surprise and confusion filled my mind. Who knew there was someone faster than me.

"If were all done here, I've got some money waiting for me at the bank."

She walked closer and pecked my lips, my eyes widened in surprise. "The names Maddy, by the way." She said quietly. I smiled.

"See ya later speed boy." She spoke right before she sped away.

I stood there taking in what just happened. All I remember are her bright blue eyes staring into mine and then we kissed.

Back at star labs, I told Cisco and Caitlin what happened. Cisco looked her up and found that she was know for theft and Bank robberies around central.

"Dude, she kissed you!?!" Cisco asked, in shock

"Yea..." I stared down at my shoes trying not to blush.

Ever since that encounter, I haven't stopped thinking about her. I don't know what it is, but there's just something about her.

"Do you like her?" Caitlin asked walking over to me.

"I don't know, I mean yea kinda. She has the prettiest eyes and she's just so badass." I replied

"But dude she's a criminal, you shouldn't mess with her...she could be working with Zoom for all we know. Maybe he sent her here to distract you."

"Come on Cisco, she can't be that bad.." I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever, don't come crawling back to me when you realize I'm right.

I rolled my eyes again and went to leave, when Caitlin stopped me.

"Just whatever you do, be careful." She stared at me, worry in her eyes.

I nodded and sped off.

Maddy's POV

"You promised, you would kill him!!" Zoom yelled angrily

"I'm sorry, he's just so handsome and adorable. I just couldn't." I replied biting my lip so I wouldn't blush.

"You're in love with him?!? You just met the damn guy!"

"I mean I wouldn't say I love him, but I kinda like him.."

"HE NEEDS TO DIE DAMN IT, IF YOU WON'T DO IT, I FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!"

"Fine!! But good luck finding someone better than me!" I yelled, tears falling. I sped out of Zoom's hideout and ran to star labs as that's where The Flash is trained according to Zoom.

I sped into the lab smacking into someone in the process. I look up to see The Flash but his mask was off. Damn was he cute.

"Ugh damn it, I'm so sorry."

He rubs his head and looks up. A smile formed when he saw me.

"Maddy? What are you doing here?" He asked helping me up.

I grab his hand and stood up.

"I came here to see The Flash." I smirked.

"It's Barry." He smiled.

"Well, Barry, it's nice to finally know your name."

He chuckled.

"I guess I should tell you the truth."

"What do you mean?" He asked confused.

"I, um, Zoom sent me here to kill you, but I didn't want to and when I told him, he kicked me out."

Barry's eyes widened.

"I told you so!!!" Someone called from the other room.

"Shut up Cisco!" Barry yelled back.

"So um why didn't you kill me?" He asked nervously.

"Um well, I just, something in my head was telling me not to. I don't know, you're just really handsome and you have really nice eyes, and a cute smile and I just-"

He cut me off when he kissed my cheek, making my cheeks turn bright red.

"What was that for?"

"Well it was a thank you what you said and  for not killing me. I really enjoy being alive."

I chuckled.

"I hate to nag but my friend cisco looked you up and it said you were known for theft and robberies?"

"Oh um yea, Zoom would make me steal things for him. I don't do it anymore though"

Barry smiled.

"Would you want to grab a coffee with me?"

"Okay, ya that'd be fun." I replied blushing.

He pulled me into a side hug and smiled at me.

"Race ya to jitters?" I smirked

"You're on!"

We laughed and sped out of star labs to jitters.
