No matter where you grew up you most certainly had a at least 1 family member that was always giving out advise about everything from marriage to where to buy your next car. It might have annoyed you and even seemed invaluable but if there's one thing I learned the hard way it was I should have listened to my elders when they spoke or advised me one way or the other and I would have saved not only years of dysfunction but money and opportunity as well. As the book sets out to prove you can learn some of the most valuable lessons from the advise of your elders, not only because they learned the hard way but also because the want to watch you succeed. Once you get your advice it's up to you what to do with it. You will learn how to accept the outcome of your own choice and it's another way you learn to how to value advice.
