Desmond's POV
He fell to the floor. That's it. He just fell, as if he was lifeless... His hoodie fell down and his hat rolled along the floor. The two siblings ran over to Ash and hovered above him. Their reactions? Shocked. And I don't mean in a pun way. Their eyes and mouths were wide open, Bonnie put her hands over her mouth and squinted, tears forming in her eyes. Clemont just stood there, a single hand over his mouth, covering most of it.
A few silent seconds passed. Their suspicions about him were confirmed when a worried Pikachu jumped out of his backpack and I ran over to him.
"ASH!" I yelled.
They looked at me with their shocked faces, as if they didn't believe it was really him. I ran over to his side and checked his pulse, I sighed in relief.
"I-Is he ok-k-kay?" A scared Bonnie asked, I nodded.
"Clemont, can you grab a wet rag? His forehead is burning up." I asked, he nodded and ran to the elevator.
"Bonnie," I started, turning my head towards her, "why did you do that?"
"I-I-I d-don't kno-ow, he a-acted s-strange, so I-I d-did it-t as a-an instin-nct." She sobbed.
"A Dedenne has different electricity than a Pikachu, and your Dedenne is very strong." I told her, she nodded.
"A-Are yo-ou one o-of A-Ash's friend-ds?" She asked.
The elevator opened and Clemont ran to us with a wet washcloth.
"Yeah, I'm Desmond, but I go by Dez."
She sniffled one last time and wiped her eyes. I looked to Ash and he now had a blue washcloth on his forehead.
Pikachu made his way closer to Ash and got on his chest. His cheeks sparked with electricity.
"Pikachu, no." I told him, he looked at me with a confused look.
"He needs to heal, not have more electricity in him." I told the Pokémon.
Pikachu sighed, then I saw a small, thin line of electricity come off of him and onto Ash. Ash tensed his eyes, but soon gave up due to his exhaustion.
"Wait a second..." I murmured. "Pikachu, do another one, only a small bit stronger."
He nodded, doing as I asked. Ash tensed his eyes again, then slightly opened them, he closed them again after a few seconds.
"Little bit more." I told him.
The electricity connected with Ash once more, at this rate, Pikachu will be using a full-on Thunderbolt to wake him up.
This time, he didn't open his eyes, we all exchanged worried glances, then we just barely heard his voice say, "Pikachu... use Thunderbolt."
The Pokémon's ear twitched, hearing what his trainer had said.
Pikachu nodded and left Ash's chest. "Piiiiiikaaa, CHUUUUUUUU!"
Massive bolts of electricity formed around Pikachu as he shot into the air, releasing the Thunderbolt onto his trainer.
We all heard Ash scream in pain, even though he's the one that commanded Pikachu.
