Prolouge

It had been a month since my dad, Dan Scott died. I was devistated when he passed away.

You see before him and my mom had me, he was with another woman named Karen. She became pregnant and my dad left her for my mom. Then they had me.

In highschool i hated my dads other son, my half brother Lucas. I hated him with a passion. Then i met his best friend Haley and as my relationship with Haley grew stonger my relationship with Lucas did aswell.

Back to my dad. Him and my mom always fought and eventually they got a divorce.

Karen, Lucas' mom then met my Uncle Keith. My dads brother. Thigs didnt go so well because he ended up shooting Keith. Nobody really knows why though.

When i married Haley in highschool she became pregnant and i got a scholarship. My dad was the mayor at the time becuase nobody knew of his crime. He set up a press confrence so i could confirm live that i was accepting the schoalship, but i denied. He wasnt too happy about that.

On the day of graduation Haley gave birth to our son, James or as we call him Jamie. My father never liked Haley but put up with her so he could see his grandson.

My father and i got into several fights and it got so bad that i didnt want him to even look at my family. But then there was the day everythjng changed.

It was just last month, i was on a bussiness trip and was coming home. I had a stuffed animal for my baby daughter Lydia that i was holding when somebody grabbed me.

After being kidnapped for what felt like forever my dad, my friends husband Julian, and Chris Keller, who my wife ran away with for a music tour many years ago.

Anyways they came to save me and my dad sacrafised his life for me. He was shot. Julian stole a police car and drove us to the hospital.

I was waiting in the hallway when out of the corne of my eye i saw someone. I turned and saw Haley

"Hi Hales." I barley got out

"Say it again." She begged

"Hi Hales" i repeted as she ran into my arms.

We were taken into a room where te doctor told us that due to my dads heart condition there was nothing they could do but wait until he died.

While we waited for the doctor to come back saying we could see Dan, my mom brought Jamie and Lydia in the room.

"Dad." Jamie ran and gave me a hug.

"Hi buddy." I stood up.

"Im so glad everyones ok." My mom pulled me in for a hug. When she let go i looked at Haley.

My dad soon passed away and everyone was upset. But we all knew it was his time. Even though i used to hate him with a passion. I had to move on and face the fact that he was looking out for me this whole time.

He had saved my sons life when he was kidnapped by Carrie, the old nanny who almost caused Haley and i to split up.

And now he saved me. Just so i could be with my family.
