Getting it ready

*Haley POV*

"California Scott. Get down here right now." I yell to the 4 year old who was home "sick" from school.

"Yes momma." She walked into the kitchen.

"I thought you were sick. Why am i hearing you run around upstairs?" I asked her.

"I feel better now momma." She looks at her feet.

"Alright. You can leave you jammies on but we need to go out. We have to meet Aunt Brooke and Maddy" I told her

"Okay!" She ran upstairs.

Today Lydia went to school, as well as Caylah and Dan. Nathan was at work so Brooke and I were going to the appartment to decorate for Lyd and Jude. Maddy was coming to, bringing the twins with her as Jamie was in school.

"Ready momma." Callie came down the stairs

"Okay. Lets go." We walk to the car and i buckle her in.

The drive to the appartment was about 10 minutes. We pulled in the parking lot and memories filled my head.

I got out of the car and took Callie's hand. We walked towards the appartment and i opened the door to see Brooke painting a wall.

"Aunty brookie." Callie screached.

"Hi hunny." Do you wanna help me?" Brooke asked Callie.

"Yess!" She replied as Brooke handed her a brush.

"Hey tutor mom." Brooke smiled as she handed me a brush.

"Very funny," i laughed. "Peyton cant make it, she had to go down to the studio, Alex is back from her tour and Mia is coming back tomorrow i believe, so Peyton wants them to do a duet." I explained.

I grab a paint brush an begin helping. After an hour we are finished and realise it is only 12:30.

"Maddy, will be here in 10, then we can go and get lunch." Brooke spoke as she put the paint away.

We were sitting at the table at the resteraunt talking about random things.

"So i think that the appartment is coming along good." Maddy said.

"Ya. They will be able to move in next week." I say

"I think they will love it." Brooke says

"The wall is pretty." Callie beams refering to the purple accent wall in the living room.

"Yes it is baby." I smile

*cell phone rings*

"Is that yours?" I ask Brooke.

"Nope, mine is in my pocket." She turns back to the wall and i dig through my purse.

"Unknown number." I mumble.

"Hello?" I anwser.

"Hi, is this Haley?" I hear a female voice.

"Yes it is, and who is this?" I ask, curious.

"Its..."

Cliffhanger kinda, who do you think it is??

Sorry its short. I wanted to update asap because i have exams this week.

I wanted to spend longer writing it but im afraid i'll loose wifi cause Southern Ontario (where i live) is under a severe storm watch AND tornado warnings cause of the storms in the states.

Anyone who lives in Ontario or anywhere will warnings like these, stay safe!

Oh and RIP to the little 5 year old who died yesterday during the tornado in Nebraska.

I will try and write again tonight but i will most likley loose wifi like every other time there is a tornado warning (i have actually experianced one)

I have to go outside to get my sister now. So wish me luck with all the wind. Lol.

I will update about baby names later tonight or tomorrow at school.
