Chapter 2

D.O walked to the train station where he met Lana but this time she was nowhere to be found. He waited and waited but she didn’t come yet.

“Maybe she didn’t go anywhere today~” He wondered. He decided to stick around for another 5 minutes before heading home.

The first train to her house arrived and he decided to go on it. His train will be the next but he didn’t mind waiting at 3 stops to get to his dorm.

My house is at the mini bakery shop, why don’t you come visit us sometime?’ D.O smiled as he remembered those words and smile. “I think that would be a wonderful idea..”

As the train came to stop at the 1st station; D.O hopped of and fell flat on his face.

‘OWWWW~ MY BEAUTIFUL NOSE!’

“Oh I’m sorry lad, I didn’t mean to step on your shoe laces.” An old man apologized.

D.O got up and dusted himself. “That’s alight, accidents happened.” He said; tuned around and bowed until the doors slid close. “Okay now let’s see, she said walk forward.”

*BAM*

“Oww~ not again~ She didn’t say to walk straight into a wall, that’s not fair!” He rubbed his forehead and continued following the direction to the bakery. After many twists and turns he finally found the shop. “I knew I should have taken the other left!” He walked into the bakery and a fresh smell of baked bread and caked were first to greet his nose. “Hello?” He called; looking around to see no one in the bakery. “Sure the sign said open!”

“Oh hello. I’m sorry for keeping you waiting.” A feminine voice said.

D.O turned to look around to see a short young lady with long black hair. She was wearing a yellow long sleeve turtle neck and skinny white jeans, and an apron with Pikachu on it.

‘Is that her mom? Sister? Or aunt? Because Lana looks exactly like her.’ D.O thought.

“I see you were looking at the stray full of star shaped bread. It’s my new recipe. For some reason no one bought them so you can try one for free!” She offered.

D.O took the offer and to a bite.

“Well?” She asked with sparkly eyes.

“This bread is … tasty?” He lied. ‘Why is there a weird taste?'

“I’m glad you think so. I put in it pork and cow liver and mixed them oatmeal cookie, I back them then put them in the middle with the bread dough mixed with garlic and onion, bake for 15 minutes and there you have it.” She said, surely proud of her work.

‘Pork and cow liver with oatmeal cookie and break with onion and garlic? Now wonder why I feel like I’m going to through up.’

With the effort he got he swallowed the food in his mouth. “Do you want me to be completely honest with you? This is the horrible thing I’ve ever tasted in my entire life! Cow and pork liver were never good mixture for an oatmeal cookie!”

“My bread? They’re …  they’re horrible?!” She was in tears.

“Wait I didn’t mean to upset you I was just being honest!” He tried to clear the misunderstanding but she ran out of the shop yelling: “No wonder why they were leftover!!”

'Wow what a drama!!’ D.O thought as he watched the lady running around.

“Hey you!” A male voice called D.O as they poked his back with their foot.
