‘I hate this world … ‘

A young lady thought as she was walking down to the train station in the bitter cold and rainy night. ‘Everything here bring back sad and painful memories. I can’t take it anymore.’

“You will get sick if you kept walking under the rain like that, also it’s cold so surely you will get sick.” A voice called out.

This voice made the lady stop in her tracks and stay still.

“Are you going to stay standing like that?” He asked as he stood behind her; shielding her from the rain with his umbrella.

“What is it to you if I got sick?” She asked. She didn’t move nor look at him, just kept her head down.

“Nothing but your parents will be worried.”

“That if I had parents.” She blurted out. She can feel tears threatening to fall. ‘No, not now. I can’t cry in front of him. I can’t cry in front of anyone. Stay strong!’

“I’m sorry to hear that but still someone in your family will be worried.” He said but she only shook her head. “I’m Exo’s D.O by the way.”

‘D.O?’ Her eyes were wide in surprise. She lifted her head slowly to look at him. ‘It is him no doubt about it but … but how? How? *Mental Slap* okay Lana, play it cool.’

D.O smirked. “I see you know me.”

‘Of course I do. I have the biggest celebrity crush on you.’ She thought but she only nodded. Feeling her cheeks starting to burn; she turned around quickly to hide it.

“I’m Lana, I’m 18 years old.” Lana said.

“18 years old? I thought you were 14 years old. Baby face!!” D.O laughed at himself.

‘Baby face? BABY FACE?! Why does it have to be me with a baby face?’. Lana chuckled. “Really? I get that a lot!” She said through her teeth.

“Oh my god, I’m sorry but your face looked so baby like and soft hahah~” He continued laughing like a maniac.

Lana hands began to itch. ‘Can’t hold on. Urge to smack!’

After a few minutes of laughter D.O got up the floor and suited himself. “I’m sorry for laughing like this but this is the first time I see a real baby face. Usually they’re photoshopped or something.”

“Oh I see. By the way about my parents, I lied.” Lana confessed.

“Huh? What do you mean?” D.O got confused.

“It’s not really a lie but I don’t have parents. Like today they divorced.” Lana explained. “Since I was little we used to come to this train station to get home and every time we get here they will start up a fight and one day they planed to get divorced, both shouted “let’s divorce” at the same time, and when my uncle heard that he took me from them and raised me as his own.”

“Oh so divorce? And here you made me thought they were dead or something!” He slapped himself while shaking his head.

“No they’re fine and healthy, how could you think that!” Lana scolded.  >=(

“Okay but your “I lied” then “it’s not really a lie” doesn’t make sense at all!!” D.O was about to pull his hair.

“That’s why I told my story. Didn’t you pay any attention?”

“I did but the lie part didn’t make any sense!!”

“That’s why … uhhh…” Lana didn’t know what to say anymore. It’s a bad habit she got to make people confused when she doesn’t really mean to.

“Okay that’s enough, I got your story and I’m sorry for what’s happening to you.” D.O said.

“Oh that’s okay even though the memories bother me I’ll still be okay.”

Light began to glow as the sound of the train came.

“Oh by the way my house is at a small bakery the next stop. Just exit the train station and keep walking forward then take a left and you’ll find Starfish Bakery. I hope you can come visit us some day.” He nodded. ‘You stupid girl, he doesn’t even know you!’ Lana quickly got in and waved goodbye.

D.O stood in his place watching the train until it was no longer in sight.“What is this?” He placed his hand on his rapidly beating heart. “Could this be … could this be love?” He smiled as he looked back at the tracks of the train that was gone. “I hope it is."
