Calypso charged at Zero, grabbing him by the throat. He grabbed her wrist and turned it. A loud crack rippled through the air. An even louder scream exited from Calypso's mouth. "You sure you really want me to be your opponent, Calypso? You're far weaker than I remember" said Zero. What once was Calypso's scream had vanished and laughter filled its place. She began laughing hysterically rolling on the ground holding her wrist. Calypso put her injured hand over her eye. "It's gonna take a lot more than you think to stop me, cat boy..." said Calypso. She then began pushing her broken wrist with her other hand. Another loud snap cracked through the air. Zero smiled.

"Maeko, are you okay?" asked Onyx. "Yes...more importantly, are you? You're drooling" said Maeko. Onyx felt his mouth to notice it was soaked with his saliva. He wiped his mouth with his sleeve. "You're low on blood, aren't you?! Thats why you're so hungry? Here, take mine" offered Maeko, holding out her arm.

"Why would I do that? Calyspo would kill me. We've worked so hard just to get you alive. I'm not going to drain the life out of you again" said Onyx.

Calypso kicked Zero in the face, knocking him onto the ground. By this point Raelynn had run off into the woods to avoid Onyx's temptations. Zero sprung up from the ground and punched Calypso in the gut. She coughed up a bit of blood. Zero proceeded to punching her in the jaw. She fell to the ground, but before Zero could do any more damage, she quickly climbed up a tree. Zero looked at the sky. "I suppose it is that night, isn't it? You're running out of time" said Zero. Looking into the sky, Calypso noticed the moon was full.

"What does Zero mean that Calypso is running out of time?" asked Maeko.

"Basically, a couple things can come out of this situation. I'll list them from best to worst case scenario.
Option A: Calypso kills Zero, and she saves you with a happy end.
Option B: Zero kills you before the full moon, making Calypso have to reset for a 9th time. If we do however, you will not remember this and you will be driven to insanity.
Option C: Zero kills you after the full moon, where she can still reset time, but she will have a very small window to save you and it will be hard to change your fate.
Option D: Zero kills you before the full moon, and Calypso does not reset before this full moon making her unable to reset and you permanently dead.
Option E: Zero kills Calypso, which results in him killing all of us" explained Onyx

Maeko held her head and cried. "Why are they all bad options...why can't we all just live happily...why do cat people exist?!" cried Maeko.

"Look at you, crying in a situation like this. Man up. Were not going to die. Calypso will kill him" Onyx said.

"How do you know?!" asked Maeko.

"I just know" said Onyx.

The full moon began slowly rising to the point of no return. Calypso glared at the moon, jumped down from the tree and attacked Zero. "Dogs win over cats" said Calypso.

"Hey, is she going to kill Zero?" asked Maeko.

"Who knows. Calypso hates killing people, but she has a grudge on Zero so I bet she would" said Onyx.

Zero escaped her attack, and charged at Calypso with his claws. "At least I'm not a bitch" said Zero, scratching Calypso in the face. Calypso now had three parallel lines on her cheek, each oozing a crimson red liquid that matched the colour of her hair tips. The liquid dripped down her cheek and off of her face.

"You're not sensitive to Calypso's blood?" asked Maeko.

"No," replied onyx, "Once you've drank the same person's blood so many times, you don't crave it anymore" explained Onyx. "When you first drink someone's blood, you'll have a resolve to want to drink their blood over and over again. That resolve weakens further and further every time you drink their blood. So with Calypso...I drank off of her so many times that I'm immune to the smell of her blood" said Onyx.

"That many times?! Then how'd she survive all of the prescriptions and medical stuff to get your toxins out of her?" asked Maeko.

"It was a miracle. Even I, her best friend, thought she'd die. I told her she was basically committing suicide by making that decision. Even so, she went through with it. And she survived. And now I owe my life to her" said Onyx.

Maeko continued watching the two fight.

Calypso attempted to kick Zero in the face again, but he grabbed her leg and held her there. He then threw her against a tree. Calypso screamed in pain.

"Looks like this fight is just about over" said Zero. "I'm going to kill you, and the moon is almost in set position. Any last words?" asked Zero, walking towards Calypso in the darkness.

"She doesn't need to have last words..." said Maeko, standing up. Zero's head turned and looked at Maeko. "Why can't we all just be friends? Why does it have to be life or death? I'm sure that we can all forget this and live happily...right?" said Maeko, standing in Zero's way.

"People like you Maeko...truly make others happy. You find the good in the bad, you're nice, you're caring..." said Zero. "Which is exactly why I have to kill you" said Zero, pulling a knife out of his pocket and impaling Maeko. Or at least who he thought was Maeko.

Instead, before him was an impaled Onyx. In a flash, Onyx traded places with Maeko.

"Oh, aren't you a hero now?" asked Zero, twisting the knife into Onyx's stomach. "At least I don't hit women like you do" said Onyx, holding Zero's hand on the knife. Calypso shouted, "Onyx why", crying simultaneously. Maeko was in a pile of leaves on the ground staring at the two. In a heartbeat, a loud crack was heard through the air; both Zero and Onyx collapsed.

"Is everyone okay?! I'm sorry it took me so long to get here!" said Dingo, rushing over with Raelynn and Sai. Calypso was bawling. She attempted to get up, but  collapsed. She crawled over to Onyx. "I know I love Maeko, but why would you do this to me Onyx?! Why? I need you just as much as I need her! You're my best friend!" said Calypso, sobbing. Dingo, Sai, and Raelynn arrived to a dead Zero and Onyx. Maeko was still speechlessly sitting in the leaves. Everything grew quiet, except for the sound of Calypso's tears and blood dripping from her jaw onto the leaves.
