I was waiting for Chris to come back, but unfortunately, he never did. I sighed and laid back on the bed, curling up on my side and tying to forget about the kiss. It was a mistake that I had made and it wouldn't happen again. Assured by this thought, I slowly drifted off to sleep.

When I woke up, I wasn't surprised to feel his arms around me. He was breathing in and out evenly, his face in the crook of my neck while my back was pressed against his chest. I knew he was asleep, so I slowly tried to wiggle out of his grasp. I didn't succeed, however, because of how tightly his arms were wrapped around me. I sighed in defeat and I heard him chuckle. Maybe he wasn't asleep after all.

"Can you let me go?" I asked in an annoyed tone.

"ope." He said, turning me around in his arms so I was facing him. He was staring at me with that same emotion in his eyes that he had yesterday. That emotion I hadn't quite figured out yet.

I felt his hand come up to cup the back of my neck as he pulled my face to his. I was shocked, mostly because he wasn't kissing me fiercely like he usually did. It was more like the kiss we shared last night, the one I had initiated. I wanted to pull away from him, but his hand on my neck and his arm around my waist was preventing me from moving. Eventually I just gave in and kissed him back, hoping it would make the kiss end sooner. Instead, I was proven wrong as I felt his tongue slip into my mouth and tangle with mine. I reached up and tangled my hands in his hair, attempting to pull his face away from mine, but unfortunately I wasn't strong enough.

Once he was finally finished kissing me, he pulled away slowly, staring at me with a small smile. I didn't say anything, since I knew it was no use.

"I'm sorry about yesterday." He mumbled, breaking the moment of silence.

"When?" I asked, not sure exactly what he was referring to.

"When you kissed me and I ran and... I was just surprised." He confessed. I just nodded, unable to respond.

"No one's ever kissed me of their own will before." He said after a moment of silence. I was surprised at this, but I chose to remain silent.

"But you did." He continued. I looked up and saw him looking at me, and I shook my head quickly.

"No I didn't." I said, wishing he could just let it go.

"Yeah you did." He protested, and I knew he was right. And he knew he was right.

"Maybe I did." I finally admitted with a shrug. He smiled and then seemed to realize something.

"I'm taking you shopping." He said.

"What?!" I said, confused as to what he was saying. HE was taking ME shopping. For what?!

"Well you obviously need clothes and I don't have clothes for you here unless you wanna walk around in giant baggy t-shirts." He explained obviously.

"At this point I might not mind the t-shirts." I mumbled, looking down to see that I still had on the same clothes he had kidnapped me in. it wasn't like I had anything else to wear.

"Well I think if I go with you I can trust you enough to not talk to anyone or get help, because if you do you should know by now that you won't get far before I catch you. And when I catch you that won't be good," he said, his cheerful mood instantly darkening to a threatening tone.

"O-okay." I stammered, trying no to be intimidated by his stare.

"Understand?" He asked, raising his eyebrow. I nodded quickly and he smiled again, the tense mood in the air instantly disappearing. I sighed in relief and he grabbed my hand, pulling me out of the bed with him.
