Chapter 4: Steven Rages (part 3)

Arcos charged at Steven and Coret as they both got into fighting stances preparing to fight. Arcos went after Coret throwing a punch with his left which Coret met with a punch from his right. Coret returned to his fighting stance a cat stance with a hunch his fist in a fist boxers position ready to make the next move. "Ah yes I should have been more aware of who I was dealing with, Coret the copycat master creator of the Copy form" Arcos said looking to Steven. "Pfft at least he's using form you've been reduced to petty flailing" Steven said getting into the fighting stance of Taekwondo. Arcos flew at Steven launching a series of jabs and crosses at him each one of them being blocked as Steven looked for an opening. Arcos suddenly changed tactics throwing an elbow at Steven then diving towards Coret launching a right jab towards his torso. The attack would've landed had Steven not chased after Arcos axe kicking him in the back then following up with several jabs and crosses to his back as he fell to the floor. Arcos quickly flipped around just as the floor came to him and laughed maniacally as he kicked Steven into the air and berated his body with attacks. Coret flew down towards Steven and Arcos before realising that an energy blast may work better and began to start one up. Steven had finally gotten control of himself and began rapidly blocking attacks as he knew he couldn't challenge his speed at his current energy level. "Steven move!" Coret screamed as he pointed his energy ball at Arcos "Senbokumasu! (Super Spirit Cannon!)" Coret screamed as he fired the ball at Arcos hitting him in the arm causing a giant explosion. "Steven!" Coret screamed looking around worriedly before he was interrupted by an energy blast from Arcos came from the smoke towards Coret. "Crap!" Coret screamed dodging the attack as Arcos teleported behind him and punched him in the back "how do you plan on escaping me now?" Arcos asked before covering Coret in punches, and kicks. "The Phrokuketsu (energy booster) will have to work" Steven said to himself standing on the floor as he began making hand signals crossing his index fingers in a cross then quickly switching to an X Xshape before switching to a V shape, and finally repeating the process with two fingers returning to the cross shape and shouting "Phrokuketsu!" as he immediately boosted to full power. Arcos looked down scared realizing that he was utterly screwed he turned to Steven and put his wrists together with his hands at 90 degree angles with his fingers arched inwards as energy began to build up in his hands. Steven didn't look worried as he set up to deflect Arcoss attack. "senbokusafa! (full power spirit beam!)" Arcos screamed as he fired the beam at Steven however upon the beam reaching Steven he used a knife hand and swats the blast away like it was nothing before dashing at Coret and slamming his fist into his stomach ripping out the ball causing Arcos to revert back to normal before falling to the floor below. "Steven you did great for your first real fight but there's one thing that must be done" Coret said looking down a bit sadly. "What is it master?" Steven asked looking nervous "you have to decide whether Arcos lives or dies my pupil" Steven went down beside Arcos and looked at him "let him live he can be arrested there'll be no need for court with this much damage having been done" Steven said flying off. Later on that day after Arcos was put in prison and everything had been cleared Steven and Coret went back to their dojo to relax. "Steven I have to ask why did you allow Arcos to live after all that's gone down?" Coret asked looking at Steven as he sat down in a chair. "Well honestly master when I was younger Arcos and I were best friends however after I managed to defeat him in a small tournament we became enemies... Well rivals really we hated each other to everyone else but to each other we were friends who just wanted to get stronger" Steven explained. "Greed is one of the seven deadly sins your main goal should never be power my pupil always remember that it's your faith that allows you to be powerful a God given capability" Coret said before standing up. "Now show me your form please" Coret said moving across the room to the training pad "yes sir!" screamed Steven as he moved to the center of the pad. Off in the headmaster's Palace a freedom fighter spy limped in to report to the Headmaster some bad news "Sir there's a great problem heading this way we may not be able..." suddenly he was cut off by the Headmaster raising his hand. "I have felt it my friend and I am afraid you are correct the -noc brothers on the Spirit Fighter planet are coming here and at their current pace they will make it in only three days" the Headmaster said standing up and moving to the the balcony and looking out onto his planet "send word to the greatest masters and their pupils warn them to begin power training to fight the incoming invaders immediately" the head master commanded before looking into the sky.  The messenger went out to all of the greatest masters including Coret and told them he even went as far as to release the imprisoned Arcos to have as much assistance against the threat as possible. I hope that our best are enough to handle the incoming enemy the Headmaster thought as he stared at the expanse of sky before him before returning back to his throne and taking a seat shaking all over as he wondered was this finally the end of the planet. "Why would they come here" the Headmaster said sadly.
