It was, once again, my time of the month.
No—I'm not a female, I can vouch for that. Wait, why do I need to vouch for that anyway? I'm definitely not a girl. Well the point is; I have my 'time of the month' too. It's not exactly all chaotic or stressful like you'd think it is, but I guess it could be, to some extent. You see, if it's all pent up and restrained, it can get a little frustrating.
Hence the stress.
This therefore, called for some impromptu unprecedented shopping. Which simply meant that I was making a trip down to the bookstore to get some...books.
You know what I mean.
Yes, those kind of books.
Don't give me that look, it's pretty common.
I am, of course, aware of the full variety of...materials that were available online—but the risk of having a virus corrupt my precious laptop was enough to deter the scared and over-anxious Ace. Besides, books and magazines were traditional. And, well, I'm a traditional man.
Ugh, just what am I saying? Please ignore me.

At first, Chip looked completely clueless even though he was staring at the entire rack of rated magazines. "Aren't these magazines for men? I think Hansel's read one on how to, um...what's it called. It said 'get ripped'."
"Nonono nein," I corrected him, pointing to a very, very shady magazines situated at the bottom corner tucked away from innocent human eyes like Chip's. "Look again."
The cover of the issue featured a holy-banana-hot man who coincidentally had no clothes on and strangely reminded me of Blake—wait. What? No Ace, this isn't the time to be thinking about Blake; as a matter of fact, you're not supposed to be thinking about him at all!
I watched as Chip's ears turned pink; then red. "Wha—but that's. I-is that even legal?" He asked quietly, as if he was committing a crime himself.
"Not for me," I grinned. "But for you, that's a yes."
His cheeks blushed a fair red, and he was trying to look anywhere but the cover of the magazine. "Um, y-you...you read this?"
I nodded awkwardly, looking at my feet with a sudden embarrassment that came out of nowhere. "Well, not really. I mean I've read the...lighter. Ones. But not those rated 21."
For some reason, Chip blushed harder. This only made me excessively conscious of myself, and I started to feel a heat rise from the base of my neck.
"Is it...um, you know. Is it for...?"
"Yes, for people like us," I felt the need to explain myself. "You know, for those kind of urges."
