The End of December

The Neighborhood

We pulled over to a brick building. We went inside and seen a man in front of apartment 2a. We walked asked him if was Mr. Renolds which he replied yes and showed us inside. It was a modern apartment, which didn't fit the exterior. We said we would like to see the house in the neighborhood. So we decided to follow him to there. 

A couple hours later we pulled into a gated community. There was a guard at the fence who had required Mr. Reynolds to show ID and the guard let us through with him. We parked in a driveway and a couple kids were playing in the yard of a neighbor. We looked at the house in front of us. I noticed the fence and Bailey was still asleep. I shook her arm and she woke up and she gasped at the house. It was a two story house that had a rose garden at the entrance. The inside was amazing. It had
3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There was a large living room, and I decided that this was a good house. Bailey was walking around and seen me.

"This place is pretty great." She said

"Yeah."

We found Mr. Reynolds and told him this was the house we wanted.

~2 Months Later~

We were fully moved in and Ash had her own little spot she stayed at. She was chewing a bone and I pet her head and walked to Bailey. She was down stairs reading To Kill a Mockingbird. I told her good night and went up stairs.

As I undressed myself, I heard something at the window.
