I get up in the morning and the wolf is sleeping like a log. Then, I come up with the perfect name: Hunter. Not like the Flash name, Hunter Zolomon. Just plain ol' Hunter. As I pack up, Hunter wakes up and barely trudges forward. I think he didn't get the "we wake up at the crack of dawn to walk to civilization" warning. I finish packing up and stand up. Then, an aftershock that I estimate to be a 4.2 through 4.9 earthquake on the Richter scale hits and knocks me down to the floor. "Note to self: I got to remember about these aftershocks", I say to myself. Then, pebbles fall on my head. "Also, have to remember that." Then, on the other side of the ridge, a huge boulder falls rolling down next to me, scratching my nose. "Also have to remember that too. Also, thanks boulder. I had an itch." After I close my backpack and double checked, I am off. Then, I trip on a pebble. I sigh. "Really? Really nature?" I look off to the base camp and what I estimate 4 miles from my camp. I set off on my journey, quest, trip, expedition, voyage towards base camp. After an hour of hiking. My legs feel heavy. I am still drowsy from sleeping. I take a rest from a rock. Hunter joins in on my rest. As I said earlier, he sleeps like a log. A log in the middle of the Himalayas. As I am about to doze off, I hear some growling. I open my eyes slightly and see wolves. "Oh, look wolves. Wolves!" I wake up and notice a whole pack of wolves surrounding me. The pack leader is like Death. He is even giving me the death stare. I look straight into his eyes and be the human version of death. Then, I blink. That startles him and he starts chasing me. So there is on thing to do, run. I run as fast as I can. The leader is very swift, like a ninja with black fur. He chases me a into a yak, which knocks me down. I get up and keep running. I run to a dead end in the ridge. The pack surrounds me and the leader makes eye contact. Then, he makes a pounce and realize it's true: memories do flash before you die.

As my memories flash before death, Hunter comes out of nowhere and tackles the leader of the pack. They start fighting and I and the pack spectate the whole fight. Hunter is actually doing pretty good. When the fight is over, he has scared the leader of the pack away. On the contrary, Hunter has been badly injured by the fight. Also, we have been driven 3 more miles away from the base camp. I start carrying Hunter and I am off towards the base camp, but also medical attention.
