Homecoming Game Day

Today was the day that UCLA played Southern California for our homecoming game. I play for UCLA by the way.

I took my shower just to be on the safe side. An hour or so before I had to go I texted Nathan to see if he was going.

Hey r u going to my homecoming game tonight

My Mate Nate - Sorry baby girl I can't make it stuck at the studio 😭

I got to the campus where we were playing. I went down to the locker room and got ready to change out.

"Where's your lover boy, Y/N?" They know about the whole me liking Nate thing and tease me every chance they get.
"He had some more stuff to do in the studio so he couldn't come." I said getting a little sad.
"But I mean either way were going to kick some ass tonight, right guys?" I said lightening the mood.
"You know it!" My friend Julia said walking down the stairs into the locker room.

After we had all got changed out and talked for a little bit then it was time to go play.

~ Skip Game ~

We ended up winning by 3 points and Julia insisted that we go out to this fancy restaurant and get all dressed up. After going home and getting dressed, I left to go to the restaurant but half way there I got a call.

"Hey do you know where I lost my earring?" Hailey asked me as soon as I picked up.
"No honey I do not." I replied back to her.
"Omg you sound like my mom" She laughed.
"Well did you try calling her?" I retorted.
"She's all the way in Mississippi. Y/N can you please just help me find them?!"
"Why me and not the other girls?!" I said whining a little bit.
"Because they suck at finding things!"

"Fine! Where are you at?"
"The locker room."
"On my way." I said turning around heading towards the gym.

I got to the gym and walked in and all my friends were there each of them holding a volleyball.
Julia was holding the one that said 'will', Hailey was holding the one that said 'you', Charisma was holding the one that said 'be', Gabbi was holding  the one that said 'mine', and of course Nathan was holding the one that had the '?' on it.

All of them were smiling harder than I've ever seen the smile.

"Well?" Nathan said pulling me from my starring in amazement trance.
"Of course Nathan!" I said running up and hugging him.

After a little while of hugging him the girls threw up the volleyballs and spiked them in which glitter fell from them.

"Hey you guys can go ahead and go out we will clean this up."
"Are you sure?" I asked wanting to lend a hand.
"We're sure!" They all yelled in unison.
I heard footsteps coming up behind me and figured out that it was Julia after she whispered, "Get you some." in my ear.
