Ch. 1

My name is Y/N and I I'm from Omaha, Nebraska. I've been on this Earth 17 years now. My birthday is February 11th. My favorite color is lime green and I play no sports because I'm lazy.

"Hey Y/N!" My best friend Nathan said walking beside me as we enter the school.
"Hey Nate." I said with a cheerful grin upon my face.

"Are you coming to the game on Thursday?" He said walking backwards so he could look at my face while we were talking.
"Yeah if my mom let's me." I say frowning a little bit.

I say mom because my dad stays mainly gone so it kinda feels like it's just me and my mom there. Plus my parents don't have the healthiest relationship in the world.

"Oh." Nate said looking kind of down because he knew it was a very slim chance of me going. My mom is really protective over me. While Westside isn't that bad she still doesn't trust the kids here.

"I'll try though." You said trying to get his hopes up but they weren't budging.
"Yeah." He said walking into his class leaving you to walk to your next class by yourself.
