Elizabeth's Point of View

I laced up my boots and straightened my tie as I looked at myself in the mirror. It's best to be presentable around here. Being in Slytherin, expectations are high from my peers. I've also been rated second best in the house after Draco Malfoy. He's a natural talent and perhaps in possible to out do, but he's friendly to me and we're actually great friends. I took one last look at myself in the mirror then quickly ran to a Slytherin meeting called by Professor Snape.

"Hey Elizabeth." Said Draco catching up to me.

"Hey." I smiled as we both quickly walked to where the meeting was located.

"This meeting is all about my dad. He's joining the Slytherin house board." Draco explained to me.

"Lucius Malfoy?" I asked. Excitement was building inside me. I've heard he's an incredible wizard.

"Well yes. He is my only dad." Draco laughed.

I rolled my eyes as we approached the door to a private conference room where other Slytherins were gathering. Professor Snape was anxiously waiting for all of the students to come in the room. Finally the last few students slipped in.

"Calloportus!" Snape casted a spell, sealing the door shut.

"Students. I would like to introduce to you, Lucius Malfoy, now known to you as Professor Malfoy. I will be gone this year and Lucius will be your Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher and Head of the Slytherin house. I trust that you will give him your uttermost respect. The blonde man stood next to Snape and he did resemble Draco in many ways. Platinum blonde hair, stern eyes, and a signature smirk. He definitely gave Malfoy his good looks. Snape is an incredible teacher and I doubt Professor Malfoy could be better, but I'm sure he'll teach us many things Snape wouldn't.

"I must be on my way now." Snape said as he  quickly left the room, mumbling alohamora to open the door.

"As Snape introduced me, I'm Professor Malfoy. Don't think I will be going easy on you because if you know your Slytherin history, then you know that the Malfoy's are not a family to messed with. Those of you who impress me, I shall want to invest more time in you. May I see the top five of the class? They rest of you may leave, thank you for your time."

Me and Draco stayed along with a few of my other friends Emma, Thomas, and Clara. Draco was obviously top of the class, I was second, then Clara, Thomas, and Emma.

"Nothing that I say should mentioned to your peers. You five are the only ones that will go somewhere in this world. You have the talent and determination to be great wizards. I expect a lot out of you five, so don't let me down." He lectured us sternly.

I gulped and nodded with the other students.

"You're free to go." He said.

I was getting ready to leave with the others, but Draco grabbed my wrist. They had left and it was just me, Draco, and Professor Malfoy.

"Father, this is Elizabeth. Elizabeth Slytherin." Draco smirked. The Professor's eyes widened.
"A descendant of Salazar?" He asked.

I nodded.

"I didn't know your family was still around. I never had anyone of the last name Slytherin around when I attended Hogwarts." Professor Malfoy said while clearly trying to remember.

"Unfortunately my parents were expelled and later as adults sentenced to death by the ministry of magic. As far as I'm concerned the professors obliviated all students memory of what happened with them." I explained.

"That is quite unfortunate. Who do you live with now?"

"I live with the Blishwick family. Clara, who's third in the class, is a Blishwick and we've been raised together. But I don't consider her a sister." I explained nervously.
