Ahh, Friday!  For me, and half the student body in my school, it was the best time of week, ESPECIALLY during football season.  Alright, I know, total high school cliché, but come on!  I live in one of the most football obsessed places in the country, the Deep South!  I grew up on Friday night football games and I did not intend to miss one while in high school thank you very much!  Well anyway, you’re probably wondering who I am and hell, I don’t blame you!  My name is Ireland Leigh Siegler, and before you ask, I go by my middle name.  It’s odd, I am well aware, hence the middle name.

Anyway, I live in the sweet, sweet state of South Carolina. Or you could say I live in one of the most rebellious and independent places in the constitutional U.S.  Next to Texas that is!  I very much could be the biggest southern belle you could ever lay eyes on, no joke…  I have wavy dirty blonde hair with very blonde natural highlights and cut in a simple long style with side swept bangs, my eyes are a sparkling blue and have been told they could stop a truck with their intensity, and did I mention I’m 5’10 and where 6” heels almost every day of my life, so you might as well say I’m 6’2 at least.

Well I do have high expectations for myself and how do I do that without looking fabulous all the time?!  Alright, enough rambling Leigh… tonight was the big game and everyone was going.  I had to go because my boyfriends the running back for the team and my other boyfriend is the quarter back of the team.

OPPS!  That sounds really bad on my part, but before you judge, let me explain.

See, I come from a very small family, but we are also the most powerful family in the low country.  My dad is a famous author and my mom is one of THE biggest makeup artists in the nation.  We live here ‘cause that’s where dad gets all his ideas for his books and mom lives here instead of LA or NYC because this is her home, she grew up here with her sister, my aunt, Alex.  We love this state and I could not live anywhere else, but back to the boyfriends.  My “real” boyfriend is Alec Blackwell, the teams’ running back.  I call him my real boyfriend because in truth, compared to my “cover” boyfriend, he’s the better guy of the two, and trust me; he KNOWS it… ass, but he's my ass...  My other boyfriend is Emmet Foxworth, the quarterback.  I know what you’re thinking, why do you want BOTH of them!?  The answer is simple really, my parents.  They are the type of parents that still believe in old southern traditions and they think that if I plan to be worth anything, then I need to be dating the most popular and hottest guy at school, therefore, Emmet.  I do it for them; they are great parents and love me so much that I do this all for them.

Then there’s Alec… Ahhhhh Alec...  He is the biggest player at school, but really, he is totally whipped, by me of course!  Alec and I have been dating since 8th grade and we are all 11th graders now.  Alec and Emmet are best friends, but the only thing is, Emmet doesn’t know about Alec, no one does. We have been secretly dating for almost 4 years now and haven’t told a soul.  Everyone thinks we are best friends, and we are. I’ve known Alec since the 2nd grade and we have been inseparable since.  He spends almost every day at my house and sleeps over almost every other.  My parents don’t mind, they think we are just really great friends, boy, are they wrong. Emmet makes me happy in a way but I see him more as a guy friend then I see Alec as one.

Sadly, my life is just this complicated, and the game hasn’t even started.
