Be Mine?

E'Liya.
"Tonight, we turn up bitches!" I yelled as everyone cheered.
"And happy birthday, to my boo Melanie!" I shouted.
Everyone was completely drunk and high. Body shots were happening left and right. People going upstairs, making out, and dancing. I can throw a good party if I do say so myself. As I was leaving the kitchen I saw this couple kissing in the hallway. One face looked extremely familiar. I walked closer and saw my boyfriend kissing some girl.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" I screamed.
They broke apart and looked at me in shock. Tears started to form in my eyes as I stormed off. I can't believe him! I pushed through the drunk bodies and stepped outside and sat by the pool. I looked up at the stars and started to think.
"Hey, you okay?"
I looked behind me to see Chris.
"I saw you storm off earlier. What happened?" Chris asked, sitting next to me.
"Marvin happened." I grumbled.
"What did he do?" Chris questioned.
"I saw him kissing some girl. He didn't even come after me." I replied, tears rushing down my face.
He didn't say anything, he just held me as I cried.
"You know what? I'm not gonna cry over him. Fuck him and that other hoe!" I shouted.
"That's more like it! There's the girl I know! There's my beaut friend!" Chris cheered, smiling at me.
I laughed in response. I don't know why though. Maybe it's the booze in my system.
"Hey, wanna roll up with me?"
"Yeah, I could use one right now."
We sat by the pool and rolled up getting higher than the stars. We laughed at random things, and just went crazy. Next thing I knew we were both in the pool. I tried swimming away from Chris but he caught me and pulled me close. We just looked at each other. His chocolate brown eyes looked so hypnotizing. His lips looked so kissable and, his freckles really showed in the moonlight. I lean in close and placed my lips on his. He kissed back and, I could've sworn I felt fireworks erupt in my stomach. Our lips fit like puzzle pieces. Is this what I've been missing out on? Was Chris what I really wanted? Or needed? We pulled away and just looked at the stars.
"Be mine?"
I looked away from the stars and said,
"Yes, as long you'll be mine."
"Forever and always." Chris said, smiling.
I reached for his hand and lead him inside.
"C'mon, let make this exclusive." I stated, smirking.
Chris smirked as well and followed me to the heart of he party.
"HEY!" I shouted.
Everyone looked at me and Chris. Whispers came every single angle.
"I would like to say that. I have moved on! I found someone new! And that person is Chris. So here's to you Marvin." I said, flipping up the middle finger.
Everyone shouted and girls were shouting "YASS BOO!" or "YOU TELL HIM!" . I felt so good inside. You will never ever catch me down for long, cause I don't take no bull from ANYONE. I may like to party but, I'm serious when it comes to relationships. I looked at Chris and smiled. I don't know where I'd be, without him.
