          December 17
                                                                                               12:37 PM
                                                                               Wright & Co. Law Offices

I quickly knocked on the door of Mr. Wright's office.

I had some urgent news to tell him. The door creaked open slightly ajar by the force of my knock. I peered in and saw that everything was normal.

"Hello? Mr. Wright?" I tried calling out to see if he was here. No response.

I stepped in and left the door open to let Mr. Wright know that someone is waiting for him when gets back from wherever he is.

I looked around and sat down on the couch. I didn't turn the lights on because I rather enjoyed the darkness when I could. Not that I'm evil or anything, it's just that it's a relaxing tone of color.

The door to Mr. Wright's working office was slightly open but I didn't dare go in there unless Mr. Wright said I could.

I tilted my head backwards and rested it against the wall. I closed my eyes and soaked in the darkness.

Suddenly, I started to hear an inhuman moan. It sent chills running down my spine. The sound was coming from the other room. My head snapped up directly at the sound.

"What is that?" I said to myself. I got up off the couch and tiptoed towards the door. I know I'm not supposed to go in there but curiosity got the best of me. Besides, peeking in wouldn't count as entering right?

I opened the door more and saw a terrifying sight. His office was trashed with papers and fallen furniture. Worst of all, Mr. Wright's body.

I gave a loud gasp and ran to Mr. Wright's side. There was blood dripping out of his mouth and a huge bloodstain on his suit.

His hand was over his heart. I lifted his hand and saw a huge stab wound. It was still bleeding. I tired to take his pulse and found a very irregular heartbeat. At least he's alive.

"Mr. Wright can you hear me?" My eyes started to tear. I didn't want to believe it but I had to admit it. Mr. Wright is dying.

He gave out a very ugly moan. I started to sob. "Don't worry Mr. Wright. You're going to be fine." I sobbed.

Why did this have to happen? Mr. Wright means too much to me. He can't be dying. He just can't.

As I was crying, Mr. Wright lifted his bloody hand and grabbed ahold of my red trench coat. He pulled me closer to him and he whispered into my ear with the last ounce of his strength.

"Run..."

He let go and dropped his hand at his side. I heard a soft exhale and then there was dead silence. No more moaning. No more heartbeat.

"NO!" I cried out to his lifeless body. This can't be! I burst into more tears. I didn't even bother decipher what Mr. Wright had told me until it was too late.
