Unintended

Part 5

*MONAS POV*

I walk out into Dom's living room and find Matt, Dom, Chris, Tom and Kelly sitting drinking cider. Matt looks up and his eyes widen at me.

"Wow" he blurts and everyone looks around smiling, Dom and Matt staring bemused at me.

"What?" I ask stopping in my tracks to come and sit with them. Dom pulls my waist down to sit on top of him.

"You look great" he says kissing my hand. I smile and look to Matt who blushes and nods in agreement followed by everyone else.

"Yeah that dress suits you a lot" Kelly says and I thank her and look down at my dress. It's pretty casual, Nothing special. The top Is like a blouse and then there's a blue skirt part on the bottom and I'm wearing a leather jacket and black high heel boots.

"So shall we go?" I ask and everyone nods and grabs some alcohol and crisps and stuff and we leave as Dom locks the door behind us.

When we get to the den Dom sets up the tent thing and then we dot the stuff across the table and sit on the grass as Matt puts on some music and gets the gear sorted on the mini stage because we decided Muse would play a few songs.

People started to arrive quickly in big flourishes and soon enough there were enough people- a lot of people- for Muse to start playing and people were making lots of noise talking not paying attention to them on stage until Matt slid his pick down his fret board creating a wonderful screeching sound and shutting everyone up before bursting into cave. Kelly and I danced along with some of our other mates and then they played Uno which was awesome and then out of the blue they played unintended and I could feel Matt looking at me the whole time but I couldn't make eye contact with him because it always makes me emotional. Then after that they finished with Fillip and they came off stage after receiving a lot of praise and claps and shouts for it. I went to greet them with Kelly when they came off and the other music was put back on.

"That was great!" I say and Kelly nods and goes to kiss Chris and they walk off somewhere else. Dom puts a sweaty arm around me and I already have deodorant in my skirt pocket and I spray him and Matt with it and we all cough but at least it smells nice.

"Cheers" Matt says through coughs.

"Now let's go find Bellamy a girlfriend" Dom says and we nod as I grab Matts hand and introduce him to one of my friends Abellas (it's a Greek name or something).

"Hey Abs, this is Matt" I say and she smiles and shakes his hand.

"Hey, you were amazing up there, I'm a big fan" she says and Matt smiles appreciatively.

"Cheers! I'm glad you enjoyed it, we've almost finished our first album, so I'll be sure to get you a copy" he says flirtatiously. I roll my eyes at his sudden charm and pat their backs.

"I'll let you guys get acquainted and I'll see you later" I say and drag Dom away from the noise and he walks me to the sea front not far from the party.

*DOMS POV*

I hold Mona's hand as we walk to the seafront and sit on the ledge together watching the sun go down.

She leans her head on my shoulder and I put my arm around her and we sit quietly like that for a bit just enjoying the moment. Its calming, the distant sound of the party and the close sound of the waves and the cool air on our skin and the warmth radiating between our bodies.

I kiss her head and she looks up and smiles that brilliant smile at me and I return the gesture and we kiss. A very tender loving kiss.

"Mona, I love you" I say.
